Protest said:Sorry, not how I read the Minister's response. Is the Judicial Review actually active? Why do commentators suggest it will be 12mths or more before any meaningful action is seen? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If there was serious intent the £ cap would be an immediate priority and DVLA access suspended within 3 months for sluggish players. Action on "overseeing body" should already be moving. And some national action by Trading Standards is long overdue - an audit which might answer many questions!

The DLUHC is moving on this and there is intent to re-take the decisions on the level of parking charges and the false 'DRA fees' as promised.
Certain extra meetings obviously had to take place to inform the draft Impact Assessment that the DLUHC has publicly stated they will publish, alongside the final Public Consultation.
I can't talk about the work of the Steering Group (I never do) but it's been noted that the BPA have published their own take on an 'anticipated timeline' in this month's Parking News (free to read online).
The Public Consultation is coming, as the letter you got correctly stated, and Ministers want to encourage the public to respond to it.
It was PPC World who 'kicked the can down the road' but it's not out of sight. Delays were also caused of course by political hoo-hah in the Autumn. We are past that now and the can has stopped bouncing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
