Some lovely houses in Kingsdown although not sure I'd want to be that close to the sea.
My legs really ache this morning. It's a while since I've done such a long walk. Before lockdown we did a 10-12 mile walk with the Ramblers every weekend but have got out of the habit so are trying to get back into regular walking. We want to do Folkestone to Dover next. It will mean changing buses in Dover so will try to do it on a Saturday as we can use our bus passes all day so can set off earlier.5 -
Slightly damp start to the day at the moment ,but my gardener Mick has turned up, and will prune back the shrubs for me .
He's a great chap, and comes once a fortnight, and manages my garden beautifully for me and keeps it neat and tidy.
He is also going to take my set of white cast iron garden furniture to my DDs for me in his van.He is worth his weight in gold to me bless him.
Today I will pop to the library to pick up a book I had on order, but no food shopping to buy at all

I used to live on Mersea Island Rosa, and it used to bucket down there at times

It was very wet at Ramsgate. I went up to Westwood Cross. By the time I'd finished I realised I didn't have time to get back to Ramsgate in time to catch my bus home. There's only one an hour and I didn't feel like hanging around Ramsgate for 50 minutes in the pouring rain so I got the bus into Canterbury. As my bus drew into the bus station I saw the bus I wanted to catch drive out! Then the next bus failed to turn up. By the time I got a bus home it was school turning out time .6

This lovely balmy weather and long summer evenings are a definite reason to be cheerful! I love being able to wander about in the evenings without wrapping up.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

My 39 year old son out of hospital after 2 heart attacks at the weekend.
Test's show proof of this but also show a healthy heart.
More tests needed but a relief4 -
@luvchocolate so pleased to hear that.
We have had an awful shock when a young close relative died just a week or so ago. All the family are devastated particularly her children and her mum.
I am grateful to be on holiday from work, and the sun is shining . Plus the garden looks beautiful and lush at the moment.
I feel blessed to have such a close and loving family.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.4
