Today I have been watching the farmer move part of his herd of cows down the track to another field. There's so many tiny calves which have been racing around the field. Then the swallows started their evening dance. Small things bring so much cheer, all from my living room chair.

A lovely walk along the beach today
some decent vouchers from an expensive supermarket saving me £5 on two thing we consume regularly.Popped next door to a multicultural food shop and picked up some herbs, spices and blanched almonds cheaper than elsewhere.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?6 -
Busy cheerful Friday for me today
1. Washing done and out had a good blow on the washing line
2. Made a box of Melting Moments biscuits for tomorrow night for my eldest DD, I am going to dinner there and we will watch the eurovision and giggle at some of the songs no doubt.
3. Also made a nice Mandarine trifle to take with me for pudding
4. Sorted out my knitting wool, and reorganised the spare stuff, some for me and some for the Knitting club
5. had a nice dinner of fish ,new potatoes and cauliflower cheese tonight using up stuff from the freezer.
6 .Just started my latest book from the library.Kate Atkinson's 'Case 'Historys', been waiting for a month for it to come in,she's very popular
all in all a productive day

Today was beautifully summery and I enjoyed basking in the sunshine whilst working. I then made an effort and dressed up to go out for the evening, must be the first time since Christmas 2019!!! I feel so much better for it.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Beautiful morning in Yorkshire.
2 year old Grandson staying with me today...normally would take him to local park but he now wants to walk everywhere and is being potty trained so maybe not today 😁
