Morning all!£25 left for the month (eek!). Starting to feel a bit more like myself, the school run helps with a bit of structure, saying that I have demolished 2 books since Sunday night and DH has been cooking
. He has not left the house since last Wednesday and has somehow come down with a cold last night. The rest of us are fine....bizarre eh?
The sun is shining the sky is blue, it is getting light before 7am, so Spring is around the corner, with all the snow that will bring - you know it is not over yet!!!Planning on hitting up some competition sites (have not won anything in a-g-e-s) and making a bit more ££ on p/a.Gratitudes: lovely Mr Coffee Maker making me coffee every morning, Lidelle's amazing £1.50 F&V boxes, and for feeling a bit more human.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for dc being ok, for having a lovely line manager, for dark chocolate, for strong coffee, for gorgeous bed linen, for the croci blooming away.

Evening Turtles. Strange day today, met an old man coming towards me down a one way street, collision narrowly avoided as he was too busy talking to his passenger ( a few choice words were said which I won’t repeat here). Then on the way to take Dad to a doctors appointment (he does still drive but there is nowhere to park and he refuses to apply for a blue badge as in his mind he is not 88) a woman pulled out in front of us from a one way street (I can see a pattern emerging here). Dad was far less bothered than me!Had to go to get emergency tomato ketchup so no NSD today, but I did sort out a big bag of clothes that are too big for me (lost 4 stone over the last year) that still have the labels on for the C shop. Unfortunately I had lost all hope of ever being a 12 again some time ago and had thrown all my small clothes away.
Today I am grateful for having 9 lives, Dad thinking the near miss was funny and making serious dents in the freezer contents.10 -
Grateful today for the early spring flowers in the garden - daffodils both mini and full sized, crocuses, snowdrops and hardy cyclamen. I only have a small garden, but aim to have a bit of everything9

firsview - dents in the freezer are preferable to dents in your car!

Thank you all for your good wishes x
Good to hear you, your dad & your car are all still in one piece @firsview.
NSD#10/11 can't remember what number I'm up to without checking!
A slightly tricky day at work today & boy was it cold at playtime! The wind was blowing off the sea & the sleety/hail showers weren't pleasant either. Roll on spring!
Me & hubby unloaded the firewood from the car, then I did some hand sewing, first for a customer, then mending holes in DS3's clothes. Planning an early night with my book, ready to take hubby to the airport for his hospital appointment.
Grateful for being a driver (hubby isn't), hot drinks/warm fires/hot water bottles, inquisitive cats, the support of you lot, that I've managed another NSDUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
