Excellent outcome (well nearly, apart from BPA attitude) but at least it IS cancelled! Well done.2

Well done.
Hopefully things will get better when the new mandatory parking code of practice is introduced next year, but the BPA has already told its members the parking companies should start implementing changes now.
You and your lovely husband should both complain to your MP (separate complaints) if you haven't already done so, telling her/him about all the problems you have and discrimination you have suffered.

which is good!I am glad I don’t have to do a annoying POPLA appeal. They are hard work.I would like to know if there is anything I can do, to try stop these things happening to disabled people?Your friend on wheels
staceyWhy not respond to the BPA and send them photos/videos you already have, showing the extent of your problems and why you need extensive adjustments (to which you are legally entitled) when parking.Their dismissive and ill-informed response, supporting the PPC in 'squeezing' you for a 30 secs 'overstay' beyond the 10 minute grace period is totally inadequate and totally unacceptable! They should be so utterly ashamed of themselves, their PPC and their woeful attempt in making excuses for them.Shameless.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done a good result.
It's the likes of UKPC that Sir Greg Knight's was all about. The new code addresses all the problems which for years, the BPA have ignored
The parking industry and their member clubs only have themselves to blame2 -
I have recently got a similar parking ticket to this one, except the carpark I parked in had a 2 hour limit and the blue badge allows 3 hours and I was in there for 2 hours 10 minutes. I have used this carpark for many years, unfortunately they have installed CCTV cameras in the last few weeks without me knowing. If I pay the fine within 14 days its £50.00, after the 14 days it goes upto £95.00. If I appeal the ticket and am unsuccessful will I still have the option to pay the £50.00 charge. Well done Stacey on winning the appeal.
