As you can see, their post in this thread is not atypical ... they just seem to like to be confrontational rather than provide any positive contribution to any thread.
I've never before felt I had to report a poster but on this occasion I did. As you say, the poster has form, but this time said poster really, really overstepped the mark (and in my view an unreserved apology wouldn't go amiss).

Did you ever get the problem with ParkingEye, I think it was, who issued tickets when your vehicle was parked in your won space
yesss I remember the thunderbird I have copy of it.
and yes I sort out the tickets for my own space. My PAs (Carers) where getting tickets for parking in my parking space. And the parking company had no authority to ticket my spot. My housing officer fixed it all. Because my tenancy agreement says my PAs can park there. I got all their tickets cancelled via my housing officer.
i happy see you still here and you well.Hugs

Imho the blue badge and a minimum of 3 hours should be mandatory for all disabled spaces , public and private , one easy rule to understand and to follow , by everybody
Even councils Gove one Extra hour on pay and display car parks !
2 hours on a retail park is completely ridiculous !! Who dreamed up that time limit ? And why ?
( And yes I know the typical reason , to penalise shopper's who don't notice the time ) profit before people5 -

Very easy in The Range
But I reckon if you were doing a Big Conplete One Stop Shop there (i.e completing kitting out your house or flat) then you could easily do that! People spend far longer in Ikea and there is less you can physically buy and take with you. 3 hours can easily whizz by if you take into account the time of entering, finding a space, parking up, reading (and now photographing for future reference) T&C signs, shopping (viewing, comparing, checking online reviews, searching for in store and the finally selecting items), queuing for the checkout, dining in the cafe then packing your car, leaving the carpark where there is a single lane exit straight on busy dual carriageway roundabout which is always backed up with traffic and you wait to join the main road.

It was a car park with a 3 hour limit.
Time on site was 3 hours 10 minutes, spread across the Range and another store.
Maximum time parked was 2 hours 50 minutes as Stacey's dear hubby takes at least ten minutes to unload, and ten minutes to load his precious passenger.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks6 -

When you say next step be to do formal complaint to MP etc, do you mean now? Or wait to see if the lady from BPA responds to me first?
Also do I respond to the appeal again like the letter said, or ignore their request for me to respond. I would only be repeating myself if I respond. I would never give driver name, I know not to.
Just not sure if I need wait patiently, or do something else in meantime.Your friend on wheels
Stacey.I glad I find this forum :A:T1 -
Hi Stacey,
I think wait and see what the BPA say first, in this case.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That fact has absolutely nothing to do with anyone else but Stacey, and certainly not a greedy, intransigent, self serving PPC but if the cap fits!

A few retail Parks near me allow 4 hours on site , but if we know that this particular car park where Stacey went allows 3 hours for able bodied people , then they should allow extra time , up to an hour for example , for blue badge holders , or people like Stacey who qualify for reasonable adjustment under the EA 2010 , so in a word , longer !
Had they done either , or had they made the actual limit 4 hours from the start , she wouldn't be in this position !
Genuine Shoppers should not be penalised , simples ! 👍👍👍
Plus as soon as she appealed and mentioned the blue badge , proper consideration should have occurred , not just computer says no !7 -

Stacey, please, please keep asking questions, and please, please never, ever think you are asking something stupid.
There is no such thing as a stupid question.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks6 -
