My girlfriend still really seems to like the look of it but we have agreed that we will go for a good test drive first to see how this car drives. If it is harsh riding, loud and quite frankly dangerous it isn’t the car for us
You bought and paid for a car you havent driven? Or you havent driven it because you havent bought it?
Your memory seems very Dark on this Matter?utopia55 said:I have already paid for the car and signed the finance agreement and will be collecting next week from the main dealer.

I have a great deal of difficulty believing in the credibility of the above post. After all, who would not do some sort of research of such a car before going to even view it, let alone go into a finance package for it?
In the small chance that it is genuine, please step away. Inferior tyres, less than ideal fuel are going to defeat the point of getting the car especially if you are going to risk a cancellation of insurance by driving the car how it can be driven even within the law.
Don't do a Nike. Just DON'T do it.0 -

You're allegedly about to drop nearly 40k on a high performance car and you want to know if you can get away with budget tyres and half-arsed servicing? You cannot afford this car.

I remember when we moved into our house one of the neighbours was telling me that the ride on his Ferrari was too firm making the car uncomfortable. I told him he should have got a Metro like mine with hydrolastic suspension. And he would have got four seats. He wasn't impressed.0

That's exactly what the car is - it's a high performance road legal track car. It's really intended for rich people to drive to track days or show off. It's fast and great on a track but will be awful for daily road use.
If you want a car that looks like it, then go and buy a regular 4 series with the M kit. It'll be about half the purchase price, half the running costs and be much nicer to drive.
I wouldn't even dream of having one with a black box fitted, because there's no point having a 400bhp car and driving like a granny.
