The police had told my husband that we should keep returning it and didn't seem to understand what he was trying to say. He told them that this person had lied on a legal document (DBS) and to have one issued, they will have had to lie by using our address on at least two other forms of ID. This is a criminal matter and potentially putting others in her care at risk, but they just kept telling him to return the mail. He took the mail to them as evidence, but they wouldn't even look at it.
I suspect the address on mail is the wrong problem for the police. You should get them interested in the fact she is trespassing on your land and harassing you - they are more used to dealing with that sort of thing. Make it easy for them by giving them problems they are familiar with.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

You need to put return to sender and pop in back in the post pox.
I'm sure eventually the message will get through when people contact the person to state they are having problems sending mail1 -

I know the financial issues would start for us if she was using our names and so far I've seen no evidence of that, but she has managed to get hold of our financial post in the past and may well have details wrote down. I am constantly checking our credit reports and she is not on the electoral register at our address.I would also put an alert on the LR -www.gov.uk/guidance/property-alert2 -

The Act also says you must have experienced at least two incidents by the same person or group of people for it to be harassment."

Alternatively, if she's a nurse, could you forward the mail to the hospital as the only address you have for her, c/o the manager? That might get her a bit of a nudge from them.Statement of Affairs (SOA) link: https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.phpFor free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Call the DBS and explain your concerns, that may force them to investigate what she is up to!4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.2

This person has had a criminal record check using our address and to do this must have at least two other proof of ID documents in her name at our address, which could be a passport, credit card, driving licence, insurance etc...
I didn't think that passports were connected with any particular address. Obviously a bank will need the right address to send CC statements, likewise driving license renewals, insurance....potentially she's not paying her bills, not got a valid driving license if she's not updated the address and insuring your house rather than her own. All the more reason for letters to continue to be returned to sender so her driver license can be cancelled eventually and the rest.
Somewhere in this someone states that she's a nurse - I do think that telling her employer, whomever that is, about her behaviour might be productive. Lots of employers take antisocial behaviour very seriously as it can put their business in jeopardy for a variety of reasons. If she's NHS would they be comfortable with an aggressive individual working on the wards? The fact that they are aware of her behaviour outside of work means that if there is a complaint inside work they could be considered liable.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
