I've just noticed this article: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2022/03/together-energy-customer--check-your-final-bill-as--thousands--o/?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=22-Mar-22-b438eb6a0a24a059830-623a3f8258d934a5dc87bb8d431a00c0&source=CRM-MSETIP-b438eb6a0a24a059830&utm_campaign=nt-moneysavingnews&utm_content=3
Has anyone had their TE final bill - this implies they've been issued but I've had nothing.

Had mine but only because I looked on the portal. Shows I'm in credit but oddly they have now taken another payment today so I have cancelled the Direct Debit even though we were all told not to. Another indication of how chaotic their account management has been throughout.

I think a problem (cant prove as not privy to accounts) is we had some companies giving customers fixed rate deals, whilst not securing fixed rate with the wholesalers, meaning they were effectively hedging their bets, once that bet was lost, without a big bank balance or shareholder cash input they going under.
I think this was more likely with the first ones that went bust, the ones that survived longer were perhaps running with more sound financing but still not enough.0 -

Suggest you claim that payment back from your bank as well as cancelling the DD.Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️, DH: 🏅🏅⭐️, DD1: 🏅 and one for Mum: 🏅0 -
I've just found that my final bill is on the old TE website (thanks to a friend who told me his was up).
Not applied to my BG account yet, AFAIK (can't log in at the moment as the website's fallen over).
My credit seems unnaturally low so I'll have to do the arithmetic and check. At least one Estimated reading seems wrong to me, probably not by much. Since I took and submitted readings at the time I don't see why they're estimated.Decluttering awards 2025: 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️, DH: 🏅🏅⭐️, DD1: 🏅 and one for Mum: 🏅0
