Morning all,
You are all fantastic, never forget that xxx And yes, better IS good enough xx
So, usual of up at 6am. I hadn't done much WU yesterday so had lots to do - all done by 6.30. Chickens sorted and cleaned out, wheelie bin put out (very high winds here so didnt want to do it last night), brought it back in.
Children away to school, beds made, and washing blowing on the line. It is triple pegged on! I also forced myself into the shower - it sounds silly but it is something I just dread ATM. Anyway, hair washed which will do for a good few days.
I have a hacking cough and ache, but no tests. May order some, may not, I don't go out really anyway.
I slept under DS's weighted blanket last night it made such a huge difference to me I think I may order one.
Right I am going to cuddle the dog and browse the forums, take care all and as Mademoiselle says SMILE xxxx11 -
High wind here as well.Small shop done and awayCats sorted, been outside playing and have bought a 3 inch piece of polystyrene (think packing around a fridge or similar) back in with them, plus an old cellophane sandwich wrapper, binned the lot of it, someones garden must be full of rubbish.Have arranged to collect some turf tomorrow, only a small amount about 25 mile round trip but loads cheaper than delivery at £48.Keep safeBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

ASB.. it may sound gross but forced myself into the shower one day last week, maybe Thursday and I haven't been in since. I feel so lethargic it is such a chore to drag myself in there. in honesty I have barely left my bedroom all week. The girls have been in various rooms with various devices and I just rested on the bed, in peace and quiet. I need to wash sticky children too. If school could see them we would be reported for neglect haha.. They haven't worn clothes for over a week.. just pj's.
So.. everyone fed and watered.. I'm going for a shower.. then stuffing at least 2 beasts in the bath.
Most of us still testing positive despite the 10 days being up. I must trot to post office today though before my buyers get snotty.

well - bye bye upright vacuum cleaner which has (very stinkily) burnt itself out...windows opened to remove noxious odours.
luckily I had a battery stick cleaner for Christmas so no excuse not to fly.

ASB thanks for the reminder to SMILE, I needed it.
After finding it very hard to get going in the library I have at last done something. Big white table is completely clear so it can be moved out. Old shelving unit which we decided was going to the tip is nearly cleared. Just a shelf of model cars, which will go in give away box and then all the cycling stuff which I've found a plastic box for and then it will all be together when we move the bikes.
Fan put away properly. Oil bath radiator to go with it when I've finished my cuppa
Lunch eaten and walk had with OH (6 days on the trot of 10k steps)
A couple of shelves in the library re organised and wiped down
Dry washing folded and put away, no ironing required
Need to think about dinner and put the sheets back on the bed.
Going to tidy round where I've been sorting, bring more pellets in, take the recycling out, empty the bin, make the bed and sort dinner.
The house is a little less cluttered and cleaner than it was yesterday so going in the right direction, even if it is slow11 -
I washed me.. and dumped 2 trolls in the bath.. I am utterly exhausted!!

Bathroom and kitchen also cleaned. Not least because DD is using the office. Washing brought in and folded. There were two sheets, so I'm pleased to have got them dried on the line. Burnt out motor smell has dissipated.

Day 2 survived. But I've come home with a banging headache - so parrots swallowed and nightie on.
I paid my rent on the way home, and filed the receipt when I came in. Lunch bag emptied, can rinsed for recycling and used disposable masks binned. The gift aid tags that I ordered have arrived- and the letter points out that you can donate a few items at a time, it doesn't have to be huge bags. 💡
Take care

It doesn’t sound gross Piggers. I hope you’re okay and not too worn out tonight. I always take the view that I’ll be filthy again in a few hours with looking after the chickens so what’s the point?!
Kids got a shower at swimming yesterday thank the gods. I hate our bathroom; our shower dribbles water out and we have no bath. I am tempted to buy a second hand free standing bath, stick it under the shower (it’s a wetroom style) and fashion some drainage together just so I can have a soak. I ache so much at the moment.
Anyhoo, kids had a nice day at school and I’ve read quite a bit of my book. They are going to bed in a few minutes and I won’t be far behind them.
I hope the WAC is empty tonight xx

Hi all
I believe that very few of us actually need a shower every day, unless its hot weather or you are doing something very grimy, its more of a habit with me so I do have a shower on a morning, but we have an electric shower and I am aware of how expensive it is.
Hoped the tired and poorly ones have a better day tomorrow.
DH is not well. GPs have exhausted all options, he has to wait for his consultant appointment at the end of March. I think its time to accept that he is not going to be earning any money any time soon so we need to seriously think about how we will manage.
Other than that we keep plodding on. Work is fairly quiet thankfully so thats something, and I managed a nice lunchtime walk in the sun even though my knee has decided to start playing up.
Bedtime soon.11
