4 mile walk done. 2 herds of deer seen.
3x cars washed, because I am sick of getting filthy whichever one I get into.DH started to “supervise” but quickly saw the error of his ways and beat a hasty retreat.
Having a hot chocolate now to thaw out. Lentil soup cooking, bag of roasted veg out of the freezer (possibly from last summer, but then maybe the year before, who knows) to mix with pasta for dinner tonight. Easy dinner.
Have a lovely time, Jazee. I can’t actually remember the last time that I dressed up enough to put on a skirt.10 -
Thanks all, I have managed to source a replacement of the glass for £52. So an expensive mistake, but fixable. Our woodburner is our heater and cooker nowadays so we are lost without it!
Cooking dinner (in the oven 😱) now then it’ll be PJs for all. I’m going to bed at 7 with the children, so fatigued.
See you all on the new thread xx

Glad you've found anew one, ASB, but ouch! at the price. Spent the day cleaning the inside of the polytunnel. Came in soaked and stinky, but it's looking so much better. Outside still to do, will save that for later in the week.
Pigpen, why don't you put Twinkle on the bus that's coming around, she can see our sheep. I'll put her back on when she's finished and send her back.
Off to sit and chill now, whitest my muscles probably seize up from all the cleaning. See you all tomorrow, hugs, mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.11 -
Evening all. I really enjoyed my afternoon out, so much that after docs appointment tomorrow I'm going out out again and will be wearing another new skirt.Spend less now, work less later.11
