To be honest, they're more likely to eat your washing off the line, or your favourite Azaelea/Rose/Jasmine, naughty things!
Do they eat Dahlias? Ours have taken over the world like flowery triffids.. The washing will be safe.. how about juicy Russian/Polish neighbours? will they eat those? I can add garnish if they prefer.

This bus journey is going to be epic! Round I had to laugh at your comment this morning 😂 And also, well done you! 😁 It sounds like you have had a productive day/week. I hope work is kind to you tomorrow x
Dizzy Hugs to you & DH. So sad, and a reminder of what we are facing. It is easy for people to say 'its just a cold' but it can still have devastating results 💔
DS has his car, so he is happy and looking forward to driving to work tomorrow! DH has sorted the tax & insurance for his car, and the garage over the road are going to phone the scrap yard for us.
Meal plan & food shop done. Bed remade. The sofa was tipped over and I am pleased to report no resident rodents! It must have been just the one hiding 😥 At least I can relax now!
This evening I have caught up on 80 days and done some knitting.
Night night all x8 -
Dizzy...hugs
GI good news on the mouse front. I had one living behind the TD for a week...and, to my horror it got into one of my cupboards. Well thank goodness for the DW. Poppy is forever bringing them in alive.
oranges scrubbed, chopped, cooked and now being strained through a jelly bag to make shredless marmalade.
Friend been and dropped microscope off... a loaner, for work. So nice to have a cuppa and a natter.
Round... excellent work...

Morning all xx
I hope you managed to get some sleep BadCat. I looked at the clock at 3.50 am, but went back to sleep and had a weird dream involving hiding a toddler DS from kidnappers and lots of stairs and corridors. When I woke up I was about to go abroad with my first sister in law's brother to keep DS safe. Really not restful!
Despite my efforts to remain positive about my return to the paid stuff today my anxiety kicked in the moment I realised it was Tuesday. I will endeavour to stay calm and do my best to let the chaos go over my head. I can only do my best.

Morning all, sorry to hear your news Dizzy but loving the positive thinking about work Round.
My new mantra is that I work to earn money, and while I am there I am going to enjoy it as best I can and put a reasonable amount of effort into it, but it definitely isnt the most important thing in my life, it doesnt define me or who I am and it doesnt have to make my heart sing. And yes its warm, the people are mostly nice, it's a short commute and the coffee is free.
Fayolle pre-lockdown I hated home exercise now I love it, it really helps with my MH. I am a creature of habit so I just rock out of bed into my gym stuff every morning while DH is still asleep.
Finished work at 9.30pm last night with a thumping headache so straight to bed, still feel a bit headachy now but need to be in the office to organise the troops (well the 2 lovely people who work for me!). Yoga done, house is reasonably tidy.as I did a bit of flying yesterday morning.
Love to you all, hope everyone has a good day xx11 -
Good morning, loving the positive spirits, it helps I promise. I have my best smile on this morning as I need to chase a quote up and make a few decisions and go and pay the dentist. Also have a friend coming for dinner so will have to dust the rest of the living room, I did do some of the library yesterday. And the hoover will have to be dragged round.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Banking checked, error in my favour, but will need to be investigated before I get excited.
Off now to close the windows before we freeze to death12 -
I've done everything on my list up to Commute plus made my bed and closed the windows.
Freezing fog here so de-ice Feargal is next.
Have a good day my lovelies

Good morning,
Lots of positive vibes, fairy dust and general “you know you are amazing” vibes being a northerly direction for Round xx
YL, thank you. I am also a creature of great habit, but I struggle with DH having been at home constantly for nearly 2 years wfh. He is struggling with it too, so not fair of me to hog all the feeling. I will have a think how I can carve out a regular bit of privacy, but it certainly won’t be in the mornings. 6.15am is already early enough for me! I’m with you on the work attitude - people are lovely, it is warm, I get to drive through spectacular scenery to get there, the tea is free, the work is varied and fine, and there is plenty of parking. But it is no longer the meaning in my life. I just need to earn enough to keep going, and to make sure that DD is safe, comfortable etc. I need to remember that when others are telling me about their new cars, holiday homes, house renovations and all the other things that I don’t need and that aren’t as important as people.
Up, dressed, car scraped (it was very chilly at the top of this hill last night), and car taken to garage. Obviously there is no problem for the mechanic to see atm grrrrrrr. I am back home and I have a list. For starters:
sort out a load of washing
fold clean towels
wash hair
There is plenty more, but that will see me through this cuppa.
Love to you all xx8 -
Fayolle said:Oh I love it when somebody knows me so well 🤣. More than happy with being a hanger on for the continental leg. I’ll even offer to drive the French bit, and the Roscoff ferry is my favourite, so no hardship if you throw me back off at HB’s.Anyone who needs a bed for the night on their return journey is welcome here. Dancemum, I hope you managed to find your friend with your passport in the ferryport really quickly! How did we manage in the days before mobile phones?More marmalade making today plus sorting a couple of small spaces and a 5 Minute Flying session in the shower room I think.Have as good a day as possible everyone.Better is good enough.9
