I’m in, thank you. Not sure what I’ve just agreed to - I think it is the lists, but maybe it is also driving a minibus. I will bring the gin for me and for Valli (if I remember rightly). For our rest breaks at service stations, obviously.11

I've had my kitchen sink sat with bleach/water in it all afternoon. I now have a shiny sink. Another step on the road to graduating with my Flylady wings 😇IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme11

I'm getting a bit concerned about this road trip.. I am the end of the road.. there is no one after or before me.. I am the road to nowhere.. Is everyone disembarking at mine? If so please bring a food offering and a duster! I will get the kettle on. Don't forget to go via Scotland.. I want that crew picking up too..

I'm in this week! Thank you ladies for the lists.
Can I join you on the bus please? 😁 I'm not far from Natty as the crow flies, but the Thames estuary is in the way! Maybe it would be appropriate to have a flying bus? 🤣 I'm happy with tea & cake!
The kitchen & LR don't look too bad as I am trying to put things away when they are finished with. Unfortunately I seem to be the only one capable of doing this 🤬 I need DH to clear the detritus from his side of the bedroom. If you were to ask him, he would probably say I was the untidy one......hmmmmm! I beg to differ!!
I bought a small tin of paint, but need to buy sugar soap & sand paper before I can start anything. I will get some in town tomorrow from Mr W's as we need to go & do a food shop anyway. Its all about the prep!
Another job for tomorrow is tip up the sofa to investigate underneath. Crazy cat caught a mouse on Friday - from under/inside the sofa!! 😱 I can't be sure if it was one that he had found elsewhere that was hiding there, or if it had been living there!!!! Tipping the sofa is a 2 man job because it is very heavy. Luckily DS is off tomorrow because he is taking delivery of his new car. DH gets his on Wednesday! Which reminds me of more jobs for tomorrow....tax, insurance & sorting out what we are doing with the old car (scrapping, I think)
Hugs, sticks & spoons available to any that want or need them - help yourself!
Night night all!11 -
Thanks for list. Is there a C0$ta machine on the bus?....
Keep meaning to ask, those of you who have been decluttering photos, can you recommend a file duplicate finder that isn't too complicated?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
So pleased to hear you're getting a passport for the bus so it can come to me. It's not a difficult trip, the missing pounds have already made their way here even without the necessary paperwork!
Had a good weekend, out all day Saturday but it was so cold. Yesterday OH was on board to sort this place out so we had a trip to the tip and then cleared out a bit more stuff and are starting to have a plan how to rehome more of the stuff and more importantly a plan to get it moved to where it should be. He's working from home today so has said he will look at the bookshelves and see what can go. We're both beginning to get hints that less stuff around the place might be more peaceful.
Mount washmore to be attacked today and I would like to get our sheets done but that might have to be tomorrow.
Off to check banking and spreadsheets and have breakfast, I'm late this morning11 -
Morning all.
Glad to see that plans for the bus trip are progressing. It can't come soon enough for me. There is definitely something wrong with my scales.
I set an alarm this morning then ignored it. Just having first cuppa.
Things to do/plans for today:
Prep food for dogs
Wash hair
Have breakfast
Dailies
Dust living room
Change bedding
Dust bedroom
Take Littleydog to vet
Walk dogs
Visit DD
Small sewing repair
Council meeting in person
List not in any particular order and is probably a bit ambitious.
I'll start by getting off my bottom.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Oh I cant wait for this bus trip, I am in need of adventure. I am happy with wine and gin and I can do vodka if that's an option. In fact I am not too fussy when it comes to alcohol! Happy to bring some nibbles.
I am currently enjoying the luxury of a late start today. Have to log in to a meeting at 10am but dont actually have to be in the office until lunchtime. I didnt have the best night sleep again but made myself get up because staying bed makes me feel worse.
So I have been trying to tidy the living room, have done a 20 minute workout, just having porridge now.then will have a shower and wash my hair. White over with frost outside but looks like the sun is going to come out.
Oh and I need to go to the library when I go into town, I have a pile of books to go back. And there is a parcel belonging to DS that needs to go to the post office that I have somehow become responsible for dealing with.
Have a good Monday all x.10 -
Morning all xx
It's my last day of freedom 😢 I feel like a different person to the one who left work on 7th. So I'm obviously in there but it's how to keep hold of me? It's going to be a nightmare with colleagues leaving, newbies starting, and colleagues on leave. And that's just the rest of January 🙄. I will endeavour to ride the storm with poise.
I'm up , made my bed, closed the bedroom window- sharp frost overnight and heating now on, looked at my shiny sink, and I'm supping my first brew.
To Do Today List
Brew 2 and breakfast
Shower and wash hair
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA
WM x 2
Transfer contents to new bag
Return container to NN 🐸
Find a home for the last 3 Christmas presents
Finish emptying first box from under the kitchen table
Write a shopping list for Mr C00p- I think I can manage until I'm on my way home from the paid stuff tomorrow.
As for the bus - it can't fly. It's a bus!!! But, goodintentions, we'll call for you after kaz, then on to pick up Natty. Quick Channel crossing to see Mademoiselle, then on to Fayolle - who is now going to say that she'd like to cross the Channel with us and thus derail my carefully planned route. No CostA on board Narc0 but there'll be regular comfort breaks 😊
Ladies, I love you all. Never have I ever met such a group of supportive, wise, caring, utterly batty friends. And I think we are friends aren't we? You have surely saved my sanity on numerous occasions. I can be Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, or Rabbit and no-one bats an eyelid. Well, not online anyway 🤭 Thank you from the bottom of my ❤
Have a good day
Rxx
