Oh Chloe! It's the way they run past all the things you wouldn't mind them going on, or are easy to clean, to head straight for the one thing you wish they wouldn't.
I would also agree that paying for someone else to do something you hate doing is MSE - you've considered the cost to yourself and it's worth it - ergo it's mindful spending, not frittering.Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056

Oh crikey, I had no idea that this would resonate so much! 😂 @Merlin's_Beard, @debtfreewannabe321, @beanielou, @redofromstart 😊
Well I got all the rescued bulbs in the ground or in pots. I even planted up one packet of the luminous red tulips (not my style at all!) for Mr KK and put it on the step of the garage for him 😊 The rest of the red ones I will take into work.
Then did battle with the brambles in the hedge at the back of the veggie patch. I have filled two wheelbarrows full of chopped back brambles and some too sticky-outy hawthorn stems! 😳👏 There are some big roots to dig out but Mr KK has nominated himself as bramble basher again this winter, so I have left decent lengths on them so he can find them! 😊
Got another washing load on the line but there is less breeze today so not sure how well it will do … 🤷♀️🤞
Feeling a bit pooped now! Going to conserve a bit of energy now as we dragged the free in this morning, but it still needs decorating!

Sorry to hear about the cat sick but at least it wasn’t on the freshly cleaned sofa! Miss S watched on in horror as I threw up yesterday but at least I made it to the bathroom - coughing too much does this to me.Mortgage OP 2025 £7700/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

OATings:
- PiR solar powered wall lights put on the walls by the steps on the way down to the cellar, on the outside of the garage where Mr KK unloads his van and on the wall of the DIY shed next to the wheelie bins. Huge safety and quality of life OAT 👏😊
- Self adhesive draught excluder strip has been added to conservatory and front doors - if it stays put, it should make a huge difference 😊
- Mr KK has swopped out the top of the kitchen island from cheap plastic granite to engineered oak - made the kitchen so much lighter 😊 He’s also installed the door panels I picked up on Wednesday and the rear panel and front kick board. We didn’t swop the handles over though! 🤷♀️ 😂
Adventings:
- Tree is in, up, and decorated, as is the rest of the house 🎄
- We have decided that Christmas has now begun and we are each allowed to open one of our treats - I have cracked open the Belgian chocolate nuts (very good) and Mr KK is enjoying some Brazil nuts 😊
As an aside - had strong cravings for a bag of Worcester sauce crisps after the Belgian chocolate nuts, but had a cup of fennel tea and I haven’t eaten the crisps! Thank you @greenbee! 😊🤩
