Could be worse.... I was talking about Ginger Cat's predilection for plastic as we've got the plastic carpet protector down everywhere currently and the 🐙 man said he had a cat that had a predilection for rubber - used to go into other houses and pinch rubber gloves etc..... except it once came home with a condom! 😱😱😱Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Had a mouthful of wet food, a munch at kibble, sat on me for two minutes, a mad five minutes doing parkour across the back of the sofa and bookcase and now has gone up to bed in Mr KK’s room … 🤷♀️😉

They are little buggers ! But we love them, my kittens have found the cat flap and refusing to use the litter tray at all now. Today it’s been damp and raining so they helpfully brought me supplies in for tea - 2 slugs and a worm anyone ? No thought not !

Do they expect to be dried off when they come in soaked or just dry themselves off on your legs and lap? 😂

Ups and downs here …
Downs:
- So bone tired … Everything I’m doing in work feels like I’m thinking through cold pitch.
- My side of the sofa still smells of cat sick … 😢 Unless I bestir myself to DO something about it, this is going to be my Christmas 😢😢 Sigh …
Ups:
- Accidentally helped my boss with a customer debt. My quality engineer and I have been in calls with said customer about a number of quality issues for a couple of weeks and have built up a reasonable rapport with the team and have quite a few contacts there. The customer has withheld £20K of invoices for reasons unknown and no one from sales or finance in our place knew who to contact about it. I mentioned to my boss that we were working on these quality issues and the progress we were making with it (it’s a legacy issue from someone who was supposed to be looking after customer complaints but was eventually ‘encouraged’ to leave … 🙄) and boss went ‘Ooh, do you have a contact, please ask them why they have withheld payment’. I did and got an OOO. The OOO had another contact email so I asked them and they were the global procurement manager! 😳 Yikes! He had no idea why the invoices had been left unpaid, said it wasn’t normal practice to do it for quality issues and could do no more until usual contact was back in the new year. Oh well thinks I, I tried … 🤷♀️ 40 minutes later, boss sent me a remittance email finance had suddenly received for £8K! Might have been coincidence but it seems unlikely 😊
- Harvested parsley from the garden when I got home (it was just light enough to see) to brighten up a frozen pasta side that I also added crème fraiche, shallot and mushrooms to - it was lush 😊
- Had a good session with another manager who has just been trained as an internal auditor to prep for an internal audit we are going to do in the new year 😊

Those are big Ups and little Downs, and the feeling so tired is because you are literally getting over being properly ill, just a few days ago!
Your Christmas will be lovely, just go slower and be kinder to yourself in the meantime. Your body has been working very hard battling lurgy invaders.
I have no advice about the cat sick smell though 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
