Will be looking out for your flower scent posts with interest.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
I will bear that in mind 😊Watty1 said:Will be looking out for your flower scent posts with interest.

I believe Chloe would be able to tolerate this arrangement … 😉❤️PennysIntoPounds said:You sound so much brighter, glad to hear it.
Of course, it may be the case you have to have a literal catnap after lunch every day to keep your recovery on track, such a pity

Slept okay, not brilliantly but okay. I’ll take that 😊
Feeling a bit more myself in spite of ongoing gloopiness 🙄🤧
- First load of washing on the line (very optimistically 😉😂) - the grundies mobile is in the greenhouse …! 😂
- Dead headed the violas in the pots on the patio and fed them with powdered comfrey
- Bark top dressed the winter flowering honeysuckle I planted yesterday 😊
- Emptied the veg peelings tub into the compost along with a box of apples Mr KK dumped in my potting shed in no real order and have now started to rot 😳🙄
- Potted up all my dahlias now that they are dry, the dahlias rejected / donated by my very serious gardening friend and the begonias that survived the vine weevil
- The dahlia potting up required some quite big pots, which in turn meant I picked up all the pits that had blown over in recent storms at the back of the house 👏😊
Now having a quiet cuppa before Toscos arrive and needs wrangling 😊 Chloe is supporting this rest period by wiping a wet tail across my face whilst purring vigorously … I think she’s forgotten that she has food in her bowl, excuse me a minute …

Goodly chunk of time in the potting shed - as the dahlias were out of the way, I potted up the last of my tulips. As I ran out of pots, I put the last two lots straight in the garden 😊
Spent an hour or so in the garden, hand weeding, in the sun in the veggie patch. Filled a big tub of various weeds and had at the Goat weed and oak tree sapling next to the greenhouse - very satisfying to get those out without Mr KK’s help 😊👏💪
Washing is doing quite well in the weak sun and periodic breeze. 🌞😊 I will bring it in at c. 2pm once the sun leaves the garden.
I’m not going to do any more in the garden this afternoon. I need to pace myself a bit! Instead I’m going to take myself out to a garden centre to see if they have anything interesting … 🤔
Possibilities might include:
- hardy ferns for my new bed between the deck and the mower shed - if they happen to be reduced due to being out of season, so much the better! 😉
- Scented perennials
- Winter lettuce - my greenhouse ones are really struggling this year …
- New bag of potting compost as I’m almost out now.
I will ignore any Xmas ‘stuff’!KKAs at 17.03.26:
