Thanks @Cheery_Daff, @debtfreewannabe321, @skint_spice, @beanielou and @Merlin's_Beard 😊
To paraphrase MB “Out with the energy drains and in with the things that bring joy” pretty much sums up my aims! 😊
Last night I had a quiet evening as Mr KK went out to a social thing that I was supposed to go to but cried off from. Did a load of tapestry, this is last year’s piece that I am pushing hard to get finished so I can start my new one over Christmas! 😉
My energy is slowly returning. Ordered a couple of small things for the garden: a new, robust tap for the waterbutt outside the garage as the current one has seized and the handle has snapped and a bag of mini bark for my tulip pots that I want to plant up this weekend 😊

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
I have got home to Mr KK being deep in a phone call about the deepest details of the Bedford ….
EDIT: Aaaand that came to nothing. Just the guy who did the vehicle check on Monday needing clarification of some details for his report.

Not so far … It’s complicated. Military vehicles used to go back through REMY workshops for servicing and sometimes full strip downs and rebuilds. That can mean engine and chassis numbers don’t always tally. In a vehicle as old as this one (1939) it’s almost inevitable. Not sure if this will put the buyer off if he’s used to looking at classic cars, which are more likely to stay together as ‘one lump’ iyswim.ladybird1106 said:Hope it’s good news and the Bedford is off to a new home
love 🐞Very tired today, in spite of sleeping okay. Finally got the defib cabinet installed in work - will register it on Monday, once I have worked out how to use the wot 3 words app thingamee …
Popped into H0wdens on the way home hoping to pick up two decor panels for the kitchen island but they had none in stock. Now on order - due in Wednesday.Used up the green beans that I cooked last night but were too many for us to eat, in a bowl of tomato soup for lunch. It actually worked quite well - nice contrast of texture and colour and saved wasting the beans 😊
Fell asleep after lunch for 30 minutes with Chloe asleep on top of me! 😊❤️🤩 Felt very indulgent! Then managed to get moving for a bit:
- Cut down and squashed into the recycling bin, a huge cardboard box
- Emptied the kitchen bin
- Refilled the bird feeder
- Refilled the firewood and kindling boxes
- Planted out the winter flowering honeysuckle - near the greenhouse and close to the bay tree. Got microzhial pellets on the root ball, gave it a good mulch of sterile compost and a water. It needs some bark around it as well, but that can wait until tomorrow 😊 This is the beginning of my campaign to have more flower scent in the garden, so I’m happy I got this done today.- Cleaned the bathroom and the loo. These were a bit overdue thanks to us both being ill so good to have got these cleaned up. As part of this I also vacuumed the extraction fan cover over the shower cubicle 👏💪
Baked spuds for tea with batches from the freezer tonight and Mr KK has requested a dish and chip supper tomorrow night 😊
I want to make a white sauce batch tomorrow and Mr KK is going to make a stew from the other end of the HUGE lump of beef he bought a few weeks ago that wouldn’t fit in the slow cooker in one piece! 😂😊 I’m also going to look at veggie option ‘Christmas sauces’ to prep for the freezer tomorrow.KKAs at 15.11.25:

You sound so much brighter, glad to hear it.
Of course, it may be the case you have to have a literal catnap after lunch every day to keep your recovery on track, such a pity3
