Awwww ... @greenbee, @themadvix, @Baileys_Babe. Thank you for making me feel less of an 'MSE failure'! 💖
It will make a huge difference to our quality of life and that of any visitors too
And you're right we just don't have the oomph to do it ourselves atm. It means I can get on and focus on other things like tidying up, washing the dining room table cloth, dusting etc.

Oh and I forgot to mention, as it is stock take tomorrow with no production, boss was absolutely relaxed about me working from home. So I don't have to ask Mr KK to miss any work, or juggle furniture cleaner, leaving him with a key, getting into work late and then leaving again at lunchtime. I have promised myself that I will do (or at least make significant inroads into) the huuuuge legal register review we need before the next ISO 9001 assessment in Mid February.
If you hear snoring from this direction tomorrow, it will mean I have lost the battle of concentration and focus! 🤣

I am £180 worse off but my sofas are pristine!! 🤩👏😊
He's asked me for a Google review which I will be delighted to give him and I have shared the details of the local parish magazine as i gather he is trying to build up his business locally so he doesn't have to keep heading into the traffic of the local city.
Got a heater and the dehumidifier running full bore as we need to be able to sit on our main sofa by this evening, as we literally have nowhere else to sit ...
Chloe was HORRIFIED by the nosy, sucky intrusion and has only *just* returned for breakfast!
Got my week's washing through the machine and on the line in the weak sun and slight but steady breeze. It won't be bone dry when it comes back in but it will be better and save TD time. Better than tomorrow and Sunday anyway, which are both forecast to be wet all day ... Washed and deep scrubbed the top of both kitchen bins and emptied the recycling into the big green bin.
Trying fennel tea as I think it was @greenbee said it might be an appetite suppressant ... 🤞 Am hoping so as my appetite, especially for junk has finally come roaring back ...
I will go out in a bit - need to change my library books, send a top back for a refund that was too small, forage a curry for Mr KK and collect a prescription (ran out of one type this morning! 😮

Maybe we need to be accountability buddies on this tea! 🍵 😂😉greenbee said:Yes it was me re. fennel tea, and I need to drink more of it too!
- Stripped the dining room table and cleaned all the mats, got the table cloth in the wash.
- Collected prescription - so much traffic …!
- Changed library books
- Found curry for Mr KK’s tea
- Foraged lunch for myself - I had debated having lunch out as a treat but it would have taken too long and tbh I think it will be more of a treat after the silly season when everywhere is quieter.- Came home, rescued washing from the line (came in pretty dry) and had lunch
- Hand delivered local Christmas cards - there are still a few I’ve missed! 😳😂
EDIT: Sent off the too small top for a refund.
Fell into my pretty dry sofa for a cuppa!
