Excellent plant investment. I am finding that the salvia root from cuttings really easily and that they have settled in the ground really well despite the weather. Definitely a plant to have more of for me.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I was noodling about on the NHS app last night, after requesting a repeat HRT prescription and noticed they had actually uploaded the detail of the last thyroid hormone blood test result. Yes, it's in the 'normal' range but right down at the bottom end (it ranges from something like 0.6 to 4.25 and I'm on 0.95). My recollection is that it's generally better to be at the upper end of 'normal' in terms of quality of life. I have therefore used the app to send a message to the GP surgery, along with a screen shot of the results, asking for a phone consult about increasing my dose a bit to at least get me mid range. It would help explain the crashing fatigue and brain fog I get later in the day, every day and why I was constantly cold last winter. I have been polite, professional and hopefully constructive. Fingers crossed they listen and something can be changed ...

Good for you re the TFT. I just need to actually have one They are supposed to be annually but my last one was April 2023. I noticed the difference in my get up & go over 30 years ago when I moved 200 miles & the new GPs insisted on a blood test which actually should be a good thing & shows they are doing their job. When I was first diagnosed I was the source of jokes between my lovely GP & those testing. He knew them & when I went back for the results they hadn't arrived yet so he rang a friend! I couldn't understand why he was laughing because I knew this must be the result I needed because I had been to the library & read up. Yes they were laughing because mine were the results that they thought had broken the machine.0

I am not good at propagation but these were the snapped off stems cut down into short sections, dipped in rooting powder and into compost. All doing very nicely now with good established roots. My Dad says they should even root in water but I haven't tried that.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I hereby set you the OAT of:
- booking the test
- doing the test
- Checking the result and responding accordingly ...redofromstart said:I am not good at propagation but these were the snapped off stems cut down into short sections, dipped in rooting powder and into compost. You prompted me to check my last test (January) - also 0.95, down from 1.9 at the test before (a year earlier). I had my thyroid entirely removed about 13 years ago cos I had Graves Disease (overactive) and have been on complete replacement tablets ever since but I've never really bothered checking the results once it settled, and they've always been in the normal range. I could happily have more energy though! 😂😂 Will make every effort for the next 6 months to improve diet & exercise then if it's still low I'll request a bit of an increase and we'll see. Thanks for the prompt, do report back!3
