  • I think you should email the union rep and copy in HR regarding your bosses behaviour during lunch, it comes across as harassment.

Having your trip away with Mr KK sounds wonderful 🤗

Completely agree with this - he made this formal so he needs to be told that all communication regarding the settlement goes via the official channels and he should not approach you regarding anything other than operational matters.

So pleased you have booked a break and it sounds like you have a gap between finishing and getting away which you may need in order to have some time to process what has gone on recently.
quite agree with everything.  personally I think I might have picked up my lunch and gone and sat elsewhere.  Assuming I didn't dump it in his lap.  Not always known for my self control......

I would have most likely dumped it on his head.

You will be drained with all that’s going on. Not much longer and it will be a memory. Hopefully in six months or so you will look back in wonder that it actually happened because your new boss will be so much better.

Just want to say you should cry as much as you need.  It's a good tension release and the vast majority of the office won't be bothered about it and will completely understand.

Glad your other knobbie is signed off for 2 weeks.  Hope he comes back to being managed by your knob boss.  :D

  • I am stunned by both his callousness at the meeting and his lunch behaviour, for my sake please complain in an email to your union about that.

I have no patience for fools, but deliberately mean people... thats just nasty ..
His comeuppance is going to be fabulous. Also this level of meanness means he will have no real friends or family, this kind of behaviour steeps into everything you do.

    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
