I think you should email the union rep and copy in HR regarding your bosses behaviour during lunch, it comes across as harassment.

So pleased you have booked a break and it sounds like you have a gap between finishing and getting away which you may need in order to have some time to process what has gone on recently.5 -

I’m not sure I can face the hassle of writing an email about it… But if he starts again I will just shut him down and tell him to leave me alone about it.@Brie, @beanielou, I wouldn’t want to waste a good lunch! 😉😂
Finished the write up about my team and current projects / tasks for the poor bloke who has to fill in until I’m replaced. He looked a bit shell shocked. He was asking if he should change seat (he currently sits on the far side and end of the office to my team) - I said no and that he should probably mostly leave them to it, attend my team’s Tier 1s twice a week with them and book a session with all of them a day or so after I’ve gone …. Hang on …? I’m coaching the person filling in for me …?? 🤔😂😂😂🤷♀️ Ah well, it will hopefully help my team.Had a prebooked call with one of the global improvement gurus. He was so nice and kind about me that it made me cry my face off …. (the bit that really got me, was him telling me how consistently warm and positive I have been …)
I am feeling virtuous - I have logged both gas and electric meter readings with both the current energy supplier and the new one, on the right day! 👏
So very, very tired …..

Just want to say you should cry as much as you need. It's a good tension release and the vast majority of the office won't be bothered about it and will completely understand.

I am stunned by both his callousness at the meeting and his lunch behaviour, for my sake please complain in an email to your union about that.
I have no patience for fools, but deliberately mean people... thats just nasty ..
His comeuppance is going to be fabulous. Also this level of meanness means he will have no real friends or family, this kind of behaviour steeps into everything you do.
Sending you a huge hug and strength to get thru the next 40 hoursDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
