Cheery_Daff said:You are doing SO well. I reckon wait til you've finished to do your minimum income calculations if it's causing you such a headache. A week won't make a difference, and you're head will likely be much clearer once you've left. Don't make life difficult for yourself if you can avoid it xxx
Only a week to go so enjoy the last few daysEspecially the panic when people realise what you have been covering
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I prefer to think of the panic afterwards, when Boss will be asking people why x hasn't been done, and the reply each time is "Well, KK used to do that....🤷♀️" 😀😀😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

Not an experience to repeat (if I hadn't already been vegetarian for several decades it might have turned me in that direction) - but at least it wasn't inside the actual house, and I didn't have to touch most of it myself! 🤢
Anyway, sorry, please do get back to discussing something more cheerful 😬😂6 -
Thanks all.Today hit a new low. I had to prepare a plan to deliver two rather than one improvement projects for a meeting with global leaders. Just before the meeting (literally 5 minutes before) my boss called me into his office to tell me that he’d asked the new Engineering Manager to act as my role until my replacement arrives and that he would tell the global managers on the call. He asked if I wanted to sit in his office to take the call. I said no and went back to my desk. When the call opened that’s exactly what he did, at length, to them, in front of me. I put myself on mute and cried my eyes out in the middle of the office - just couldn’t contain it any more. We never got to discuss the plan I had come up with - all the global managers bailed on the call after 20 minutes.I don’t know why it got to me so much, but it really, really did … 😢
He is so cold, cruel, unempathetic …. I can’t even find the words …..
Just weary.

Oh gosh, what an awful experience, I'm so sorry. How completely and utterly unnecessary, what a fiend. I am SO cross on your behalf 😡 how unprofessional as well! Hopefully the others on the call realised and that's why they bailed 😡 what on earth was the reason for doing that other than to just to be a $##!%%?
Deep breaths. It sounds to me like he's up to his neck in some kind of trouble and flailing around trying to find someone else to blame 😡 hopefully it'll be very obvious very quick after you've gone (even more so than it already is) and he will get what he deserves 😡
Big hugs. Have yourself a nice restful evening and we can help you with ideas for either soaring above to the moral high ground or petty revenge, whatever is your preference xx7
