How he is treating you says nothing about you and everything about him.
How you are responding (and not reacting) says everything about you.

I am in awe of you. Yes you cried, good job on letting the emotions out but what a (expletives) **** he is.
I'm also in awe you have just not called in sick.
Can you just round up the work and write a list and and say as you are going on Friday and given his behaviour yesterday he might as well get someone to take everything over with immediate effect as then they have 3 days to answer questions and simply be unavailable to do anything else he wants done on account of list writing and other vague non specific tasks.
Can you also let his superiors know you are available for consultancy work if needed in the future? I have a feeling the twit might not manage left alone.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Anything he wants you to do should be countered with " I will try, but I can't promise it can be done before you revoke my access on Friday " plus the sweetest of smiles 😁😁.
I mean you have to pack up your office, in work time, and you have to make sure nothing personal / confidential is left on your computer, and you will no doubt have exit meetings with HR, and IT, and security, and catering, and your leaving do/ drinks will of course be held in company time from 11 on Friday. Treat it like going on maternity leave. Oops, I have now exceeded my contracted hours - I am not being paid for this. I'm off!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thanks again all.Getting more and more tired as this week is draggggggging on …..
Ran out of time to make my lunch on Monday night so ended up eating in the canteen. Guess who came and sat with me ….? Yup, my boss. After some bizarre small talk (something about what Germans say to each other at lunchtimes) he then harassed me about whether my union had reviewed the contract (like I’m not chasing it relentlessly?!) and what was happening with Pampered Prince (sent another sick note in for two weeks). We then sat in uncomfortable silence whilst I gulped down what was left of my lunch and fled …. Ugh ….
Then stayed until 17.15 (started at 07.30) due to needing to support a call with a customer in the US about a catastrophic failure of one of the products supplied by the site, that leaked water everywhere…. I have to get that investigation moving and hand over that today.
Fortunately, union chap texted me as I was driving home. Solicitor has (finally!) been appointed, so hopefully we can get this poxy contract over the line today / tomorrow. Apparently there was some mess up with my email, so I have shared both work and personal addresses again. In other, nicer news, Mr KK has replaced the first of the new double glazed units 👏 and we have booked a 4 night break in Slapton in two weeks’ time. My first holiday in two years 😊 We are both really looking forward to it 😊 Mr KK is researching meals out venues for two of the nights and we are both planning what to take (models for him, crafts for me, books for both of us! 😉).

He sounds like a right b3ll 3nd. I'm feeling the uncomfortable silence from here, it would have given me indigestion. Thankfully not much longer for you.
Four nights away sounds like just what you need - love all of that coast xx"Think of many things, do one"
