Goodness that's a productive day, even by your very productive standards!
Glad all the medical bits are in hand and that Chloe and George are munching away
It might be too much at the moment or it might be ideal if you're in official paperwork mode, but do remember you wanted to get yours and Mr KK's wills sorted too
A week off in July will be lovely and thoroughly earnt! Are you feeling inclined to go somewhere or to potter and enjoy the garden and bathroom?1 -

My solar light idea in the garden was in response to the sparklers as they would be a more long lasting celebration of the £250k barrier!KajiKita said:
I’ve just shared this thought with Mr KK. He agrees it would be good to do something nice, but cheap, to celebrate. I had the mad idea of buying a packet of sparklers and burning through those after dark … 🤩 We will have a think 🤔 😊f0xh0les said:Sub £250k is well worth celebrating. Even if it is 'just' a scone in the garden.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I will have the headspace then as I will have to drive it, make it happen etc. along with looking for a new utilities deal.

I vote for both sparklers AND solar lights as a celebration 😃
Wills are on my list too ...4 -
Mine too - only 2 years since I absolutely, definitely committed to doing it that year at the start of my new diary....🤦♀️Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!2 -
Ha, maybe we can have some kind of virtual prize for the one who actually gets round to it first 😂 Or a forfeit for the one who is last!!South_coast said:Mine too - only 2 years since I absolutely, definitely committed to doing it that year at the start of my new diary....🤦♀️2 -
If anyone or their partner is a member of a union ask them about wills as they often do it cheaply and have a handy template, and may offer a mirror will for the partner even if partner doesn't belong to the union3
