Spent the whole day doing training and deep, cross teams, discussion of a quality process we need to do but haven’t yet fully applied in our organisation….Mr KK spent all day doing first aid training and then rendered the patch of wall in the bathroom that we need flat to fix panels to - bless him it was *so* hot up there this evening …
Quick tea for me and then went out to a neighbour’s for an informal PC meeting to set the agenda for the next meeting etc. Many IT issues and too much talking over each other - shattered now ….
The same kind neighbour has given me a key so we can go and shower at her house when the bathroom gets ripped out this weekend. ❤️
Booked a slot at the tip for Mr KK’s van to take rubble and bathroom packaging - so we can clear the decks this weekend ready for next week!
Had enough for today. Knitting will have to be caught up with tomorrow 🤷♀️

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Very rough night - partly because of the heat but also because George didn’t come home last night and both of us spiralled into ‘he has gone missing’, just like Flower did. Mr KK stayed up very late so kept waking me up opening and closing the patio door below me and then I had one of those 3am miserable, downward spirals where things get darker and bleaker scarily fast …. Feeling washed out this morning. Unlike George who came bouncing in, happily demanding breakfast… 🙄🤷♀️😉
