Had a good day 😊
Got some more beans and two pots of black eyed Susans in the ground and tied in on the bean poles. Two loads of washing done and dried on the line 🌞
Two rows of knitting done.
Car washed and a nibbley picnic lunch and flowers (stocks) bought as housewarming present for my friend.Went off to see friend, who had no kettle … So we ended up going to a garden centre for lunch. Might have fallen into the plants, including a new to me shrub with scented foliage and purple flowers in late summer. I don’t have a home for it yet, but I will! 😊
Had a lovely time with my friend - lovely to catch up with her, eat cake, share memories and laugh a lot 😊❤️ We also had a chat about her little garden and things she might do with it. It’s a tiny house and plot, but suits her perfectly - I am so happy for her 😁
Had a breakthrough on feeding the little monsters … There was a pet shop at the garden centre (no animals but all the bits and pieces). The owner talked through ‘why kittens have kitten food’ with me - apparently it is formulated with more critical nutrients for the formation of their joints etc. and that’s why they need it until they are a year old. It’s why bigger dogs are fed puppy food for longer than smaller dogs, until they are fully grown. He suggested mixing in some human grade cat food with the kitten food that they keep leaving, so they enjoy it more and I get more of the kitten food into them and they waste less. So I bought some human grade cat food - the tuna in tuna liquor tin with tuna f3lix pouch was inhaled by Chloe and the salmon pouch with chicken tin was devoured by George - amazing! 🤩 ❤️
Mr KK has been busy - the bathroom window is in, the Bedford gearbox is out and he’s contacted Bonhams about possibly selling the Bedford at their WW2 themed sale in September. We’ve had a good discussion about possible selling tactics.

You could also try pouring Fel1x soup over their food. THe sachets are wee & one between them both would be fine.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Mine get bored of whatever they are fed so we change regularly. Kitten food was never popular, except with the old man cat who used to steal it with enthusiasm while they ate his.

LCs still eating well here - Happy KK family 😊❤️
Cleaned the bathroom and loo.
Dried washing on the line.Made a sausage casserole batch from all store cupboard and freezer stocks and herbs from the garden 😊
Got the last of the beans IN THE GROUND!!! 🥳🎉😁🤩😂
Watered lots of new plantings.Propped up the peas that are meant to be a short variety but are already c. 6 feet tall and still going! 😳 Absolutely covered in pods - I have never, ever, done so well with peas before 😁🤩Was defeated by the warmth this afternoon and watched Bridgey to the end, rather than going back in the garden.
4 rows of blanket done 😊Hoping to pop out in a minute and hack back some bindweed in the coolth of the evening 😊

Wow that's good with your peas, mine are thirsty in the tunnel and a foot or so. My first broad beans didn't set and are now covered in black fly after a week away, ready for binning I think. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Did 3/4s weed one bed - the cut flower bed. Pleased with that. Gave up when I realised I was whacking more big midges trying to bite my bare legs than I was pulling weeds out 😉😊
Updated my produce tracker total - it’s steadily ticking up 😊

Hope you remember to book the holiday and blood test tomorrow. Also got my prescriptions reissued as part of the same call and collected most of them after work (the local pharmacy never carries enough HRT for me to collect the whole prescription in one go). Feeling relieved 😊
30 minutes of bindweed bashing - barely cleared two square feet! 😳🙄 Mr KK managed to get his new core plug back in to the Bedford engine block 👏💪😊 Cats are still loving their food - we have been promoted to BEST Hoomans at meal times now … 😉😂❤️ (I know I keep on about this, I hadn’t realised how low level worried I was about their lack of eating 😊).
This evening i have done the downloading of the mortgage lender solicitor’s app, uploaded ID and address proofs, completed a huge questionnaire etc etc. Included a copy of the building control certification etc for the living room changes. They asked me if I expected to be in debit or credit at the end of the process. I had no idea! So I said in credit by c. £200 - I had to name a number 🤷♀️We need an emailed copy of the mortgage deed as you can’t do anything with it from the app and it needs downloading, wet signatures, witnessing and posting. I have messaged them and asked them to email it to me and we will get our neighbours to witness. That’s enough! 😊😉
