Hi D p dance, i read it, couldnt believe it, cunning (u know what) i dont get the John Lewis bit though
I believe our esteemed Octogenarian is referring to the fact that John Lewis give exceptional customer service and you will not get (nor even expect) the same level of service from a PPC or debt collector.

I have been looking everywhere to see if in 2016 you were only allowed a 5 mins grace time as DCB have stated, but nowhere to be seen🤔🤔🤔
Grace periods were not defined in 2016 , just reasonable time , the 2015 CoP clause 13 defines it , or rather it doesn't define it , as I have told you previously

Maybe their client decided it was 5 minutes ? Or maybe they are using the current CoP ? Who knows ?

IMHO , 5 minutes is not long enough , should be a minimum of 10 minutes

Thanks guys, i also note she says in that road the grace period  " IS" 5 minutes, so as you say Red-x no times were defined in 2016, if she is saying IS she is also relating to it is still now in 2022 5 mins, which is not true according to all the bits i have read it says has to be a minimum of10 mins, so maybe she got me there!!!!

I suppose when it comes to WS statement time i can argue that 5 mins was not long enough, but maybe they will come back and say i was not the driver (which i was not) so why am i going on about grace times, lol, any ideas on what i should reply to the complaint i made about " PARKING OFFENCES" please?

Stop playing games; you haven't instructed a solicitor and they are RIGHT to ask for their name because you lied about it and they think you have got a solicitor.  They are entitled and correct to ask for their name.

You've dug yourself an unnecessary hole.  Climb out.

Reply and say you decided not to engage the solicitor and you await their response to your MP, long overdue.

As for the BPA, it says what they need to see, so send them it and ask them to investigate.  Also tell them which MP is handling your complaint and that you will be showing any BPA reply to that MP, who is actively concerned and in the midst of a complaint to DCBLegal.

if dcb  decide to continue to go to court,

     thankyou
It's the claimant that decides , not dcb legal , dcb legal will do what their client tells them to do

You should follow the advice by coupon mad and then put the bat down for a while , take stock ! Let your complaints have time to work

Yeah okay Red-x I agree, first complaint just came back, Mp replied with mail from Dcb, i suppose it was obvious they were just going to lay their facts out to him and have done, so do not know what he will make of that apart from saying he probably cannot do anything else, i wrote him back and said thankyou and asked did he take up with them the ridiculous added on charges they are claiming, just wait now for reply from BPA but tbh can't see them going against Ukpc, bit peed off really, not as easy as i thought would be to challenge this scum, but we will see on the day i suppose, thanks for all your help and Coupon-mad and others. Dcb's reply to Mp

Sorry to interrupt on someone's thread but can I ask because the parking company has put a yellow sticker on the windscreen of the vehicle and the driver claimed to be the RK and driver at the time will the judge go towards favouring the parking company? As in my case UKCP has issued a ticket for my existing case and thread and put the sticker on the front windscreen. What happens when the judge askes me what happened to the yellow sticker as per the photograph illustrate from the SAR?
Please stay on your own thread otherwise you're going to drag this thread off at a tangent!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
