Me too @greent - I also won a bit more on PB than the small trickle of Β£25. Almost worth considering the equivalent annual interest rate. The web site is so unresponsive (especially on the day they send the email to tell you you have won) that I won't be checking which bonds did it for us. I confess to buying a lucky dip lottery ticket too, just in case my luck is good at the moment!
Congratulations on both the completion of your active treatment and the upgraded results!Save Β£12k in 2025 #2 I am at Β£4863.32 out of Β£6000 after May (81.05%)

I never check which bonds have won - that level of detail is too much information for me! π€£ I do use the prize checking app to check for prizes, though - it is quicker than the email arrivingI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£205 -

Ahh - thanks everyone
Wedding was lovely - although I fell over in the middle of the street (caught my foot on a raised paving slab) - oof that hurt!
Since then I have had 2 proper days sick - for a cold! The rest of the time I've been at work and working regular length days - it's so busy! I've given it until Xmas for me not to feel so 'meh' about the job.
It's now half term - yeay! I've listed some things on fb00k to try and sell them - 1 thing sold so far (Β£15) , 2 people have said they want 2 others (Β£26 for the 2) - it all helps! It's all going to the increased Florida fund - we're going to need quite a bit more than we budgeted back in 2020. I've got some more bits to list too, when I can get the motivation!Β
Money wise (other than the above) we have 2 reg savers maturing early next month (at the huge rate of 1%) - will open newer versions @ 5.25% (or thereabouts - I looked it up earlier and can't be sure on the exact rate) for both of us.Β
We had our latest energy invoice today. We have a smart meter, so the readings are taken for us. Even though we've taken some steps with less energy we still managed to use just under Β£200 worth of electricity last month!- we clearly need to take more steps!!!! Although realistically there are 6 of us here with usually 2 or 3 people wfh in the day with 2 monitors and 1 or 2 laptops each. We use the wm every day (although shorter wash cycles and sometimes lower temps (not a huge fan of 30 degrees for most things) but I'm not a fan of the TD (other than 10-15 mins to fluff towels) I do use the oven a lot, I suppose.
Heating isn't on yet - it's been really mild. We did have the fire on 1 evening when DH and I were both full of a heavy cold and feeling very rough. We should easily get to NovemberΒ
