Oooh - that was a long time away from here! Work was so crazy this past half term - I ended up working 50 hour weeks for weeks in a row - this was after I was told I could have some half/ shorter days in the run up to the hols (being still in recovery and all that....)... nope, not a chance. Was on my knees by the time I finished working and left left - which was around 90 minutes after school broke up and the staff party started outside my office door..... (I didn't want to go - I wanted to go home but had work to do first)
Anyway, enough of that. I'm on a break until Jan 3rd - whoop! But on a different note 3 of my house have covid.... meh. It means our Xmas plans are a little changedΒ - but not too bad.
Finally got around to having a haircut today (I've cancelled 2 since finishing chemo)Β - I have old lady hair! The chemo curls are crazy - and are growing upwards, so stick out all over the place - but at least I have hair, I guess! When stretched out it isΒ 2 inches long (post trim) and theΒ Β pre chemo hair that I have left is some fringe (some longer wispy bits which aren't worn as a fringe but are swept side/backwards over the crazy curls) It is not my hair!! π€£π€£ (well, not as I've ever known my hair) - DD says it looks/ feels like a labradoodle's coat.... π€£π€£
I have all the stocking wrapping to do and a few small presents and then some cards to write. And still some decorating to do - and red cabbage and bread sauce to make and then prep veg for the day - I'm just hoping the covid ridden children are feeling better by then!! (And that they don't share it with anyone else!) Ooh - and I definitely have some cleaning to do.... and am lacking in helpers now!Β
Will be back again soon - but it's time for bed

Life sounds busier than you'd like - I hope the covid germs waft their way away from your house nice and quickly.Β But please get some down time!2023: the year I get to buy a car7 -
If 3 have covid, does that still leave you two as helpers? Seriously, get some rest!!!!!!

so these pics have come out in the wrong order - but the not-a-lot-of-hair-ones are from the start of June and late JuneΒ (both after chemo number 3) and the other pic is today (yesterday) - all that hair is post chemo regrowth - all 'old' hair was cut off just before Xmas.
