2 weeks and 2 days left of term - and mocks are running each day - it will not be a gentle slide until the end of term, more like a mud run! Roll on Jan when I get an assistant starting (part rime, and they have absolutely no knowledge of the job - but eventually they'll be a help!)
Christmas prep is barely happeningΒ here - I really need to get my act together! I have joined the MSE advent, so am attempting some things- but nothing as useful as actually sorting presents out for people!!Β
December is DH's last month of full time hours - and then he does 3 days/ week from Jan - on the higher pay! π Fuzzy logic, but who cares!Β
DS2 is terribly sad and is at uni, so it's very hard - he has split from his boyfriend (got together in sixth form) and is heartbroken
It's very hard at that age - and being away (amd not getting on with flatmates) just makes it worse
On a happier note, DS1 and his new gf seem to be going well. She is very sweet π
Weight loss is continuing - albeit more slowly - I had to wear a belt with my (already smaller) trousers today... I may need more V1nted shopping by February! ππ€£ (assuming I don't blow it over Christmas)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£208 -
