All better now, thanks, Cheery 😊Cheery_Daff said:Ooh, excellent work on the weight loss, and I'm sorry to hear DH now has a job 😂 Hope he can find a replacement quickly 😂
Hope you're all feeling better soon too
They really like DH - they've offered him more money and to stay on for 3 days/ week - he's said yes, as he's kind of enjoying sorting out the issues there in a strategic based way. It's a good deal, in that he has more time at home than at work - and they've increased his salary to do that 🙌🙌I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £207 -

Thanks, sh. They've ended up letting him reduce his hours for more money 😁Well done on the weightloss. Good news about DH's job - he can quit and possibly reduce his hours when he's ready. You could use the funds from his job to lighten your load by getting a cleaner.
Well done on the room refurb and the baking. All sounds good.
He's still doing HR, kp.killerpeaty said:What kind of job does your partner have now?
Congrats on the weight loss! You must feel great after losing so much!
I feel so much better - and have just put trousers that were too small for me in May/ June in the V1nted pile, as they're now too big!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206 -
Thanks, Watty. It's slowed up this month, with only about 2 or 3 pounds lost - but that's still a loss, and so therefore a win! 😁Watty1 said:just had a catch up. So as well as DH's job (which will be part time after Xmas) I've had 2 grade rises and a decent pay rise myself with effect from Nov 1st 😁 - yay! Feels like some things are falling into place 😊
DS1 has a new gf - met her for the first time today - she seems lovely, for which I'm glad (was not a fan of the last 2 - not that I would have said that to him, but they both ended up doing the dirty on him)

First week of term 2 done - 6 more to go 😁
Booked this yesterday to go to with friends over the Xmas break: https://christmasfeast.thelostestate.com/book/?tw_source=fb&tw_adid=120234151081150785&utm_medium=paid&utm_source=fb&utm_id=120234144257190785_v2_s03&utm_content=120234151081150785&utm_term=120234144257190785&utm_campaign=120234144257130785&fbclid=IwY2xjawN8WaRleHRuA2FlbQEwAGFkaWQBqyh2f45mMWJyaWQRMExIbnpQZHFTOVdtZ0FPOFdzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeWIwa30f3hbVm04T4TDn-eVPiWs1RD1GYSwWL4k2NN-_3USa0D2UZHVDl-Yw_aem_QSGHeuTzt4yfLmAm4KLHVA
Not cheap!! - but am hoping its going to be a memorable experience! 😀
My V1nted addiction still continues - I have another 7 items due to arrive within the next week or so (although 2 are for youngest DS) - that's after collecting 6 last week......(5 of which were clothing items for me) 😳 o do have more than a dozen items to list, though, to help offset it - I am just lacking enthusiasm to do so!
