Back a couple of pages, Stacey Solomon is ADORABLE!Β
We did the big bedroom move around last summer and the STUFF! No family needs 7 spare duvets!6 -
Ooh - too long without posting again.
Had our 30th wedding anniversary just after I last posted. Beautiful bouquet of flowers form the children, organised by DD π
Managed a long weekend away in the motorhome in Devon right at the end of the school hols before going back to work 'properly' on 1st Sept. Weather was fairly awful whilst we were away, but it was good fun - met up with some other motorhomers we'd 'met' on Facebook.
Work has been manic - standard!
Ooh - big news - DH got a job - which none of us are now happy about! ππ He has a 3 month contract with a company maybe 2 miles from where we live and they would be happy for him to stay on for ever and ever.. he'd just got his head properly around being retired. Has been a massive change - he has been at home for essentially 2 years.... I've told him one of his main priorities has to be finding and hiring a replacement for him!!
Took DS2 back to uni last Saturday - he was very unhappy with his room and was very glum all weekend. However, he's since come down with Covid, so has stopped moaning about his halls, at least! DH, me and DS3 have also all had it this past week - not fun.
Have now lost 3.5 stone - still a way to go, but I can really see (and feel) the difference now. Much harder in the colder weather, though - salad is nowhere near as appealing as it was back in the summer!ΒI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£206 -
Wow 3.5 stone loss is amazing, well done! Could you replace the salad with soup. I eat soup all year round and it got me to and helps me to maintain my goal weight. Itβs a good way to get plenty of veg down you and use up anything lurking in the fridge too.ΒI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Well done on the weightloss. Good news about DH's job - he can quit and possibly reduce his hours when he's ready. You could use the funds from his job to lighten your load by getting a cleaner.Β
