Hi sh - I'm going to aim to finish no later than 2pm this week - and hopefully 1pm ish. I'd also like to wfh for min 2, ideally 3, days this week. I could easily get signed off again if it gets too much.
Small flebay sale today of a random item DH had for a Xmas pressie last year - good to see it gone.Β
Successful shopping trip yesterday for a second suit for ds2 for school. We've bought several but none have been 'right' - he like this one and it was a bargain at Β£90 - have ordered a second pair of trousers which will be ready in around 10 days. Also picked up some more shirts for school for him from pr1mark (he really likes the fit) and a couple of jumpers - the latter being needed as he only has 1 long sleeved top in his wardrobe - a Xmas jumper, so not that suitable for everyday wearing! ππ
Have some items to list on fb00k, but don't think I can be bothered today...
Sunny day here - sat here with patio doors open and washing outside on the line. Went for a walk down to the canal basin this morning and saw loads of ducks and our local Swan family

A suit for school? You can't even get me in a suit for work!
Hope work is kind to you!5 -
Haha! Most of our local VIth forms require a suit, I think (at least all the grammars do - I've not looked at any of the comps...)I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£204

Won Β£150 on my PB today - 2 x Β£25 and 1 x Β£100 - I've never won more than a Β£25 prize before (but I have won several Β£25 in the same month)
Ooh - don't know if I said, but DS2 was 1 Mark off a grade 9 for one of his GCSEs - we went for a review of marking and they found the extra mark - so that's another grade 9 for him now (I think that makes 6) - he was pleased (I wasn't going to apply for the review - we got it in just before the (internal) deadline)
Off to London for a family wedding this weekend
2 and a half weeks until half term - can't wait!
