well done youTonight has been a struggle as the carb monster has kicked in😡.
I think that age/menopause is playing a big part…. Said to DH earlier that I could eat a whole French stick no problem 😭 with a side of 1/2 pound of cheese! Instead had a very small piece of home made pizza which took the edge off!46,484 > 0(January)

Here is a purse of moneys... which I'm not going to give to you.8 -
Weigh in day and I have lost 2.5lb and am now at 11st 9.8lb - really happy with that! Only 2lb to go to 1st and my quarter's target!
I had secretly set myself a stretch target of 8lb in January, which I managed. I have set myself another target of getting to 11st 7lb in February so am on target with that - only 3lb to go in 2 weeks.
Really loving calorie counting - had some high calorie days but by counting it and not just thinking "stuff it, I've had a slice of cake so I might as well have a bag of crisps" I have managed to stay on track.
Coupled with exercising every day (swimming or treadmill walking / jogging) and dog walking most days I've managed to balance it out. Having a day off exercise today as my body is aching and needs a recovery day but will walk the dogs and will be be back to the gym tomorrow.9 -
Hi I think it's been a good week so far, some sturdy eating, but not much snacking! And trying to avoid sweet stuff. THe only problem this week is that I just love youghurt w musli - and believe me it adds up. Danger zone identified!!! Switch - low fat youghurt w honey! Keep up the good work everybody.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Afternoon All
Small loss of -1lb please Brambling, went off kilter a bit yesterday evening but I have a week before next weigh, however it is half term next week and I always struggle when the kids are off, although as I am not back at work still I have no real routine. Making sure I do some exercise everyday and hitting my 10k steps,'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi all
I'm very pleased with myself this week, I've lost 2.5 lbsno idea how, but I'll take it.
Frith, I'm another who loses inches/weight from the top down. My top half is slim, the bottom half is another story. I'm about two sizes bigger on the bottom half, so buying dresses, suits, etc, is slightly problematic. I keep hoping that exercise will sort it out ....
Have a good weekend everyone.7 -
Brunch - salad of spinach, avocado, nectarine, passion fruit and hummus
Afternoon - piece of son’s chicken after football
Tea - leftover spinach and butternut squash curry8 -

I agree at being at that age and the need for carbs... I also could down a French stick mine would have a block of butter on it!MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538
