Morning All
I'm popping in with a 2lb loss, quite pleased with that, I have been trying to do more exercise and am trying to hit 10k steps everyday. I'm also trying calorie counting which hasn't been too bad. Tomorrow the kids and I are off to the British Museum to see an exhibition there so will have to navigate eating out, but hopefully the walking will help.'You have brains in your head. It’s a -1lb for me please @Brambling. Quite pleased with this as after a weekend away including cooked breakfast and pub lunches I thought that it would be worse!
Well done everyone on their weight loss journey.
We are into February next week and with the days getting longer I’m hoping that I can get out walking a bit more which can only help 🙂46,484 > 0(January)

Hello
Weigh day today and I’m off the starting block! -1lb please Brambling.
Hope you feel better soon Jennystarpepper.
A shake diet is about the only kind I’ve not tried Seekingflight, though I do sometimes have a low carb keto type shake but in addition to my meals. I hope your friend can resolve the guilt and panicky feelings.
Izadora, I usually do ok food wise when I’m socialising in an eatery, I also like to peruse the menu in advance. I have to watch the beverages though as I can easily drink more calories than in the meal with just a few fruity m/c*cktails so I try to have just the one then stick to skinny b’s and alternate with sparkling water. It’s when I’m at folks homes I mostly come undone as I can’t choose what to eat and of course they get special gluten free stuff bread, desserts etc for me which is so very lovely of them I’m loathe to refuse. Certain wines set me off craving savoury followed by sweet so I know to avoid those. For weekends / holidays away I just have to be careful not to overeat if it’s a buffet style breakfast if I know there’s a planned lunch otherwise I go for it and am not hungry till the evening meal.
I’ve further reduced my carb intake, didn’t get much movement in beyond housework this week so I’ll focus more on that this coming week.
Todays food
Breakfast: Hard boiled eggs and sliced avocado and peanut chilli sauce ( a favourite as reminds me of being on holiday ) 2 x coffee with cream
Snack: Tangerines
Very Late lunch: Tuna steak, broccoli, teensy side salad (I struggle with salads in the cold) sweet chilli sauce, cashew nuts, 2 x tea with milk
Supper: Antipasti platter, bottle of fancy fizzy water.
No doubt 1 more likely 2 giant milk choc button(s)
Well done everyone, keep going.

Morning all!STS for me this week which I’m not too surprised about as I wasn’t able to walk as much.
I have every other Friday off work and last Friday walked 10 miles. Yesterday I only managed 3 as I had to collect a car club car and drive to a specialist hospital over an hour away for some physio and then back again - it knocked out half a day. But I’m down about 8lb and my target was 14 for the Q so I feel like I’m ahead and that’s ok. And the good news is I should have full use of my hand again by summer so biking should be very much back on the cardsGrocery Challenge
