Evening all.Huge olio bakery haul today means I’ve got quite a lot of croissants to be working through over the next little while. My calorie restricted breakfasts sit at 300 cal and it turns out one of these croissants with a scrap of butter and 2 teaspoons of jam is 300 cal almost exactly. So I’m going to feel like I’m having something decadent and treat like and still be within my limits for the next few days. I’m quite excited about it, sadly!Grocery Challenge

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -
Well done Cranky & LeftatLights 👏
Cranky I lost my cooking mojo after Christmas and I'm trying now to make the effort, I usually enjoy cooking and find the chopping of veg relaxing but cooking for one means I sometimes lose the incentive to be bothered 😐
Dinky step up on those scales when you are ready, just so you know no need to declare a weight on here if you don't want to. Maybe you could take measurements instead, sometimes the inches go down when the lbs don't 🙂
Eskarina I think a treat is sometimes needed if you want to stay on the wagon 🙂 I wouldn't be stopping on one unfortunately which is why they aren't allowed in the house 🙂

Hold that wagon, i'm scrambling back on it!
I am two pounds less than the end of last years challenge (I havent looked at the scales since before Christmas and the cheese balls addiction, but just got back onto the self imposed rules and hoped for the best) so quite pleased.
Todays food.
ham and pickled onion butty, raw turnip, tomato.
Giant "Breakfast" of mash, bacon, black pud, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes.
Carton of frozen chocolate milk shake like a jubbly.

I'm going to declare STS again @Brambling
Still haven't got down the pre Christmas zero but hope to by next Wednesday. If not I will log it as an increase that I need to lose along with the 7 lb target.
Having a few stressy days - which might work nicely in my favour. Work has decided to close our building and we're waiting to find out what that means for us work wise. Frankly I don't care if I am made redundant. Well actually I do care but I am actually hoping for redundancy unlike my colleagues as it would mean a payout a couple of months shy of turning 65. I hadn't planned on stopping working for another year or so but to be able to retire and get extra ££ would be nice. And I can always get another job if I need one!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
