Weigh in day - I'm going to call it 2.5lb (actually 2.8 but I'll bank the 0.3!)
Any weight loss next week and I break into the 11stone bracket.10 -
Hi Brambling
- 0.5 lb for me this week, which I'm pleased about.
Everybody is doing well, keep going!9 -
Hi Brambling
-0.5 lb so much slower than I'd like but just walking and good habit this month next month I'll calorie track for a month which should speed it up a bit.

Some lovely losses again this week
well done 👏
I walked into town today for my haircut it's a four mile round trip which wouldn't have been too bad but I brought a few bits which were heavier than I thought, so even with a cuppa at my sister half way home my hip has been objecting all evening 😬 the hip is a relatively new ache start a couple of months ago but I know I'll be told it's my weigh if I speak to anyone so I'm currently living with it
Food wise I've been good since WI on Wednesday so I'm currently thinking of something to do to keep busy or a early night, I'm not hungry so it's not needed

I shall be starting the Blood Sugar Diet (hereafter the BSD) on Monday...
In related news, I got my first Oddbox delivery this evening. I have eaten toast and cake for so long that it was really exciting to open it! Not sure what to do with the kohlrabi.8 -

Not sure what to do with the kohlrabi. It's not really the right weather, but it's lovely grated in a slaw instead of cabbage or with some apple. Or you can roast it with other veg, carrots, parsnips, beetroot 😋'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Amazingly I'm checking in with a 5lb loss, I've been doing lots of walking which must have counterbalanced the gin and pizza 🍕 I accidentally had on Friday 🌻9

Husband has brought an unwelcome guest home, he is unhappy as person he thinks passed it on could have avoided it, long story but not keeping air flowing and basic hygiene.
He is sleeping it off and leaving me alone. He has suggested a roast for tea...so he is not that bad.
Lucky for us we had our booster about 10 days ago. In Jan 20 I was convinced I had picked up the virus from a flight, same symptoms as now, but much worse on the last occasion. I have kept the house stocked with medication since and 2 years later here we go again.
I am aware people are saying cold / flu is going about, Mr has been testing negative for 4 days on the trot (feeling unwell) before a positive result given, we had a feeling it was coming from how the symptoms had been building.
Symptoms are for me the same as before, aches and pains you get with flu, a very sore throat which feels like a cross between tonsillitis and swallowing razor blades along with a chesty cough. Aware others have different symptoms. He woke me up looking for Str3psils at 3 am so I knew he had it before he tested.
So food delivery ordered for tomorrow, fruit and soup on the list. I will catch a break soon.
Please stay safe everyone
