Are you able to go for a walk lunch time Ziggy? when I work from the office i try to get out weather permitting for 30 - 45 minutes every day I also find it handy not to be in sight as we tend to get 'I know you're at lunch but........' if we stay in. Are you able to take your children out for a work between dinner and bed?
Ouch Jenny you seem to be in the wars at the moment, I can relate to the joint issues a gift from my mum to all her daughters which unfortunately means I can see where the issues are headingno causing yourself anymore damage by kicking yourself. I find the the advantage of being well round is I'm not flexible enough to kick myself up the ****

I would like to join you all if I can!
2022 is the year I am determined to get back on track with my weight loss and it would be fantastic to find some others to talk to especially on those days when things are tough, and I want to reach for a sweet fix!
I don't follow a diet, I aim to eat smart food, lots of good fats, protein, and fibre. I try to get at least 40 minutes of walking in a day (thanks to the family dog!) and then do some weights at home. I am limited to what I can do due to a disability, but I am considering getting back into Swimming now the Covid situation is slowly changing.
My first goal is to lose 10kg hopefully by the end of March.
I don't have an end goal or a time, but I have already lost 50kg (110lbs) and I have managed to keep that weight for the last two years!10 -
@DinkyStars

@jennystarpepper I had the x-ray after my knee locked once - I haven't been able to walk properly since and now my hips and back are joining in because of the way that I walk. I need a knee replacement - the consultant has seen my notes and wants to see me according to a person on the phone but I've no idea when that will be. I'm on a waiting list.
I have hydrocortisone injections in my knee which helps to keep it stable (but doesn't do much for the pain) so I'd keep asking for the x-ray if I were you. I have a feeling they may give into x-ray sooner as it's such a simple procedure? Mine took five minutes. Good luck.9 -

I'm having injections like you are, I need to find out what is wrong with the other knee now (the one locking my last good knee, lol), I have osteoarthritis in my all my joints including neck and spine, I really give up with them....Maybe I need to bite the bullet and change GP'S. I had to argue with them to get stronger pain killers, they told me I needed too take Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.... you will know how much they help. The consultant who gives me my injections was quite cross with them, it's taken 6 years to get help / injections, he told me my GP could have done the injections at the surgery, without having to see him.
Brambling - Mine is inherited also, some people get car's or house deposits.... I'm not that lucky

Bad news, eyes are rolling and I am chuntering to myself. One of my broken teeth has just fallen out ( A wisdom tooth), good news is husband has just announced he has change and to put it under my pillow! That will help with the bill.
Silver lining is, as a child I was told to put my tooth under the door mat, I now know that if the fairy leaves anything it will still be there if I am last up.
Things will improve.
