Glad to hear you managed to get out today @bubbs. Lovely to have that roast indoors in the warm at the end of the day too. I'm sure you enjoyed it. 😋

Mmmm DH is ooing and aaahhhing over that cooked dinner, looks lovely.
Today has been an emotional day so I am amazed that I did not do any emotional eating, I think I was too numb.  Just a rough day with Job 1.
Breakfast I had 2 weetabix, semi skimmed milk and a small banana.  I decided to syn the weetabix so thats 6
Dinner I had 2 Hovis nimble that I used as my HEB with chicken and stuffing finest slices from tesco that I looked up and it said syn free (not sure if that is the case!) with 1 tsp of salad cream so I am estimating 1 syn??
Tea I had bacon medallions, mushrooms, bake potato, plum tomatoes, beans and 2 eggs which I think is free, protein and speed.
Snacks were a satsuma, an apple and a pear and one malted milk biscuit which was soft so a complete let down.
I was going to take a photo and post my tea on here but to be honest once I had finished piling my plate it just did not have the same restaurant like quality @bubbs manages

  • Slightly disappointed to have STS this week, I think it's just balanced from having a good loss from last week so can't complain really.
Have been on plan completely, I intend to get a bit more exercise in this week and hope for a better result next time

Unfortunately STS can happen even when you've followed the plan @annabanana82. ☹️ Your hard work will show up in the end though. Hopefully next week. Try drinking lots of water or squash, that sometimes helps. 😊

You've had a good day @Its_time. Well done. 😊 The Tesco chicken with stuffing is 0.5 syns per slice but you're well within syns so never mind. I know what you mean about @bubbs and her great photos. 😁

    Hi all

Dropping in on WI day to report a STS for last week, I was disappointed to be honest but I know that’s sometimes how it goes. Hoping to lose today,

Will pop back later with an update x

Good luck for this week @annabanana82 and @BadCat x
Your food sounds lovely @Its_time x

I went to drop a couple of parcels at the local L0ndis yesterday and afterwards walked the long, long way home. Reckon instead of 500m I did about 2k. The weather was slightly iffy - a bit of rain in the air - but I had a nice warm coat on and my bobble hat so I was okay. Ended up with a slight headache in the afternoon though, so added a hi fi bar to my food and took some time away from my screen. Will walk with the pup at lunchtime today as it's chilli but dry.

I ended up freezing 3 portions of the Mexican chicken - two with a small portion of rice. Will take one on Thursday when I'm in the office as the weather is meant to be bad.

    Food today:
B - overnight oats with mullerlight and frozen cherries - B, 0.5 syn
L - mackerel in tomato sauce, salad leaves, tomatoes, cucumber, pickles - F, S
D - sw pork and apple burgers, sw wedges, salad leaves, tomatoes - 1.5 syns
    Snacks - blueberries, apple - S
    HEA - milk
HEA - 3 mini babybel light
    Total syns - 2

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

    Morning all.

@Its_time - if you want to post photos please do.  @bubbs is just very good at plating up her dinners before taking photos, but I suspect most of us can't match that plating style!  I've only ever posted a picture once and that was when I made a soufflé which actually rose and stayed risen when I took it out of the oven!

Don't be disappointed with STS @annabanana82.  Just think of it in terms of it wasn't a gain!  Some weeks I'm relieved to get STS when it feels like I've had a gain!

Good luck @BadCat18.  Hopefully things will have shifted for you this week after your disappointment last week.  STS is OK, as you know it happens to us all at times.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - vegetable soup - S; F
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - S; F; 1

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - Primula Light 1;  may have a biscuit or 2 later @ 2.5 syns (DH picked up a packet of "skinny" choc chip biscuits!

    Have a good day everyone.
