Morning all, good luck to those weighing this morning.  Went to zumba again last night and really enjoyed it!  Think I'm getting the hang of all the routines and I'm noticing I'm moving quicker   I'm back in my favourite jeans - that have no elastine - and the muffin top is the teensiest wee fairy cake now

Loads of fruit to use up so strawberries, nectarines and mango with f/f yoghurt for breakfast, tuna sandwich with bowl of salad for lunch and dinner is chilli with rice and roasted tomatoes, onions and mushroom on the side.  A couple of syns for salad cream.

    Have a good day everyone!

I find it so helpful to read what other people are eating. We haven't had mushroom stroganoff for ages @joedenise. Is the syn for Primula because you're having more than your HEAs? 🤔

I noted your burgers too @Coxy11. DH and I were walking past a particularly greasy smelling burger van after football on Saturday and he commented that he likes HM burgers but we haven't had them for ages. As well as making my own, I used to buy BGTY from Sainsbury's as a good standby but I think they stopped making them.

We're out for the day tomorrow which will probably mean getting lunch out but I'm sure we can find somewhere for a JP or something else SW friendly.

We're having plain and simple sausage and chips tonight. I find it hard to get Speed in with them but I've done my best.

    Today's EE plan-
B- scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- sausages, SW chips, baked beans (F), fried onions, carrot chips, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- Aldi sausages 1

I also find it useful to see what others are having.  It gives me some ideas to add to my next month's menu plan!  I haven't made burgers myself for ages - it's so easy just to buy the low fat ones from my butchers!  I always find my HM ones fall to pieces when I cook them!  Any tips @maman to stop that?  I haven't got a burger press any more.

@maman - no I haven't got any Primula I'm going to be using some more of the Philly Lightest plus some quark for the creamy sauce - just hope it works OK!  Will definitely be buying Primula next time even if I have to buy the normal one rather than the Light!

I always do fried onions when I do sausages and usually mushrooms too.

I ended up making 2 pea soup rather than mixed veg for lunch.  Not as much Speed as the only Speed in the onion & garlic but it was very tasty.

@joedenise I've made burgers and used nothing to bind them but did use a burger press, I think it made all the difference.
I've  even having a look about and have seen some  sw pancakes with 40g oats would these pancakes be free or are the oats HEB?

Thanks @Its_time; looks like I need to invest in another burger press.  The one I had before made 2 absolutely huge burgers - fine if we were having them on a plate with some chips but far too big to put in a 65g wholemeal roll!

The SW pancakes using 40g oats would be your HEB or you could syn them at 7 syns for however many you make.  This might be a better option if you want to share with someone, ie have half each.  I like the look of the American style pancakes on the SlimmingEats website but haven't got round to trying them yet.

The oats would have to either be your HEB for the day or synned @Its_time. If you like sweet things for breakfast then they're fine, although personally I prefer savoury food in general. We're all different.

I don't have a burger press @joedenise but I squeeze the burger mixture into a large pastry cutter before freezing to get the shape. I still have to be careful after they've defrosted though. I've never tried cooking HM burgers from frozen. 🤔

Maybe I'll try your solution first @maman before paying out for a burger press again.  They all seem to make really big burgers!

I just chuck my food on the plate really, i put speed on first unless having potatoes, like roast or mash then meat.
Salad i put on first then what ever protein and then few chips if im having them

Burgers, i always mix pork and beef mince, herbs and spices as i find beef on it's own too dry. I also use a burger press
