    Morning all,

Change of plan yesterday - I didn't have lunch as wasn't hungry. I had my eggs/bacon/toms late morning then went for a half hour walk plus did the food shop. I had a tea and hi fi bar when I got back but didn't fancy any lunch. The Mexican Chicken SW recipe was lovely and two portions left - DD will have some for lunch and I'll freeze the other portion.

    Food today will be:
    B - dark rye wholemeal toast, 1 tsp jam, apple - HEB, 1, S
    L - Veg chilli and (a little) rice - S
    D - SW carbonara - HEA parmesan
    HEA - milk
    Snacks - grapes

Quite a carby day ooops. Need to go to the Post Office at lunchtime to return an item plus post nephew's birthday gift. Hoping the wind drops off - currently very blowy here.

Those scotch eggs look lovely @bubbs  <3
@beanielou - hope you have a good (on plan) day  :)

    @SuffolkSue – sending hugs

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, the meal last night wasn't as bad as I expected as I didn't like it much!   Main was breaded chilli and coriander haddock goujons but they came battered and were far too greasy for me, also had a tonne of chips to fill the plate as there was only a solitary charred half lemon and ramekin of tartar sauce, no veggies or salad!  Ate a few chips and a spoonful of DS's dessert and that was it.

Tired this morning and feeling a bit blah but it will pass.   Today's food is f/f yoghurt and strawberries for breakfast, onion soup for lunch and possibly spaghetti bolognaise with parmesan for dinner.

    Have a good day everyone!

Morning all, oh dear @Jellybaby not a very successful meal out then although of course the positive is that you didn't waste a ton of syns and won't need to do loads of damage limitation for the rest of the week!  I think I would have complained and asked for at least a bit of salad on the plate - that's really bad not having any veg or salad with it!  At least you'll know not to bother visiting that establishment again!

I'm sure you'll enjoy your meals all the more today!

I think DH and I must both be mad!  DH has gone to play golf but can't see how he can play in this wind particularly bearing in mind his course runs along parallel with the sea front so the wind always blows there and I decided to change the bed and have hung the bedding on the line!  If it stays there at least it should dry - will definitely have to keep an eye on it all and get it in if the wind gets any worse.  It's already really strong but not quite as strong as Friday.  I have at least put extra pegs on it!

    Today's plan:

B - porridge made with water, satsuma - HEB; S
    L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
    D - garlic chicken breast; fried up potatoes and veg - P; S; F; 3

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - garlic chicken 3 (counting as it came from a butchers - not my usual one so not able to ask how much oil they used)

    Keep safe everyone.

I think I must be mad too @joedenise. I've put washing out. The duvet cover is wrapping itself around the line but the shirts seem OK. I've had my hair done this morning so don't really want to go out and battle with the elements! 🤔 It's bright and sunny here but very blowy indeed. The car was wobbling quite a bit on the motorway.

I'm finding meals out disappointing lately too @Jellybaby. I was unhappy last week with just a few frozen peas but no veg at all is even worse. I'm sure it's because of a shortage of proper chefs and trying to save money. Anyone could have cooked what you had last night, probably came from Iceland! 🤣

Thanks for the heads up on that Balti recipe @annabanana82. I'm always up for trying a new curry. Which reminds me, I need to batch cook some pilau rice as I much prefer it with an Indian style meal.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), berries (S)
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S) possible LO potato? (F)
D- baked cod (P), cubed potatoes, mushy peas (F), roast cauli, broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- 0

@maman - I was on the phone to my DSis just before 11 o'clock and noticed a few spits of rain on the window so quickly hung up and went to get the bedding in.  Fortunately the rain didn't get any worse and I was able to get all of it in dry so it's now folded and put away.  Clean bedding also on the bed ready for tonight - I do love nice clean bedding!

Hope you manage to get yours in dry @maman and get it in without disturbing your new hairdo!
