    Evening everyone
hello to all the newbies- great advice so far.
Regarding the spag bol- I make mine with onions, peppers, garlic, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes. I also add Worcester and Tabasco sauces for a bit of a kick and I serve it with part salad and part spaghetti 😊
I also eat jars and jars of gherkins. I have been known to have half a jar on my salad! They’re super speedy.
To the newbies as well- a different view on Syns. I’m a big girl 😂so I get more Syns than the usual 5-15 (I have 20) as I’m over a certain weight. I don’t do the syn bank as I have dyscalculia and it’s a bit much for me to calculate over the week, so I do mine daily.
Ive rejoined a gym today as I would like to start swimming again and maybe a little bit of gentle walking on the treadmill. Every little helps as they say…
    Today’s menu:
B: HEXB and HEXA cheese on toast (+4) HiFi bar (3)
L: Jacket sweet potato with John West jacket topper (2) salad. Chocolate (4.5)
D- SW lamb ‘kebab’ with salad, ‘garlic sauce’ and couscous. Skinny bar thing (3)
    S: Crisps (3.5)
    Syns: 20

    Night all.
    Lots of love xx

@bubbs oh wow your meals look yummy!
Breakfast was fruit and fibre with a banana and semi skimmed milk.
Snack at 11 was a Satsuma.
Dinner was tuna and a salad with pickled onions and beetroot with about a tsp of salad cream followed by honeydew melon.
Tea was spag bol with mushrooms, lean mince, onions, tin tomatoes, tomato puree and a bucket load of carrots!
Had a small apple for afternoon snack with my coffee.
I have pinched a homemade welsh cake which was too delicious to leave but it was small and I made it last all day and 3 maltesers and half a tsp of sugar in my coffee.
I know there are syns in there i'm just hoping they are low enough.
    Tomorrows plan is:
Breakfast fruit and fibre and a banana again.
Dinner is bake pot with beans and brown sauce. (I feel like eating a bucket load of carbs tonight).
Tea is ?? Not sure yet.
I am also very used to just stuffing as many chocolates or biscuits I fancy, one after another.

@Abbafan1972 rather then bananas could you get apples or oranges as they are Speed which bananas aren't.

@Its_time With your jacket potato and beans tomorrow try to have some salad or other Speed with it; I usually try and have some salad when I have that. Shop bought welsh cakes vary in syns depending on brand.  The Brace's 35g one is 18 syns!  The SM ones range are 7 syns for the same size although the M&S ones are slightly smaller at 28 g and 5.5 syns.  Homemade ones would have to be worked out depending on ingredients used and how many were made!

A good SW day @MrsRyan.  I sometimes wish I could have 20 syns a day!

Well done @beanielou on rejoining.  Do you have much to lose to get back to where you want to be?  Good luck.

You've done it once you can do it again @beanielou!  I'm currently about halfway between target and where I started so have made the decision to go back next week and hopefully that will make me more accountable until I can get my head back in the game week on week!

@bubbs I know what you mean.  I think you get to a point when you just sick of it all and don't bother eating it any more.

The tins of chocolates left are in the shed - there is a tin of Heroes open at the moment in the house.   I do have some hifi and skinny whip bars to hand that I can have instead, but I must get into the habit of limiting myself to one a day like before and not eating a few a day.  I do like bananas, but we went shopping on Saturday morning and I forgot to buy any.  We mainly concentrated on getting everything for my parents coming for dinner on Sunday. Will have to get some and a few other SW friendly things.

I know I can do this!
See you know you can do it :D

Tbh i only have a banana a couple of times a week as a rule but had 2 today 🤣🤣

    Great news @beanielou! 👏

Good idea to have fruit mid morning @its_me. It balances off not having Speed with your breakfast. I rarely have Speed for breakfast but tend to have more like 50% with my other meals.

If you can resist what's left or the family will eat it then fine @Abbafan1972 but otherwise you could donate them to a food bank. 🤔 Bananas are healthy and filling so no problem having them as long as you have your (at least) a third of Speed as well. 😁

Good to see you back on plan @MrsRyan. You really are disciplined when it comes to drawing that line after a break/holiday. 👏
