Oh!!! I didn't know that!  So not so bad then 🙈.  Oh thats better, such a relief.  I really like the syn bank, if that's the case I should be fine as I had hardly any for the last 3 days. Well at least it felt like it.
I had butter in the mash but ut was split between 3 people, a light and free yogurt, a bite of a welsh cake, a small celebration snicker sweet, and 3 tsp sugar over the last 3 days for syns and some salad cream maybe about 4 tsps.   I really like the syn bank idea, I will follow that instead, otherwise does it mean I just throw my syns away daily if I don't use them.... is that how it works?

The official SW line is 10 to 15 syns a day but I've used the syn bank ever since I started SW and it works for me. I got to target that way (and have stayed there for 10 years) and I'm not the only one.

I'd suggest that you use all of the 105 you want to begin with as when you get close to target you might want to cut back a bit as the last few pounds are always difficult and need an extra push.

That being said, don't use syns just because you can. I'd keep them and plan for things you really love and enjoy.

The only thing that you can't seem to carry over is HEXs. It doesn't seem to work, for example, having no bread one day and double the next. 🤔

If it helps, @Its_me, post your menus and we'll let you know how you're doing. ☺️

Hey gang, now that I’ve decided to go back to class on Saturday I need to be careful I don’t give it what the hell and continue to eat and drink everything in sight!   Back to work, albeit from home, on Wednesday and starting to plan meals using up what’s in the freezer and cupboards.

Cleaned the house from top to bottom today and put away all the Christmas decs so plenty body magic - I would so love a cleaner! Love a clean, tidy house but absolutely hate housework.

Gosh 10 years, that's very impressive.
The syn bank is making me feel that this is very doable, tomorrow I am planning SW Spaghetti bolognese for tea, breakfast and dinner I am not sure about yet, maybe a tuna salad for dinner and fruit and fibre creal with a banana for breakfast 🤔

That sounds great. Remember to add plenty of vegetables to your Bolognese and, if possible, some other fruit to your breakfast as banana, while healthy, is just a free food not a Speed food which speeds up the weight loss.

I make a rough meal plan a week ahead on shopping day but once you get used to buying SW friendly foods it gets easier to make good mealchoices as you have the right ingredients in. 😊

Ah ok, I get it, filling up/bulking out with speed, still having the free food but less of it without noticing as the speed reduces the free portion 🤔, hmmm ok, thank you that's much clearer.

@Its_time as @maman said post your menu plans and we can point out if there is anything glaringly obvious that has syns.  Today's plan sounds very SW friendly.

Just a couple of thoughts!  Are you aware of the amounts for HEAs and HEBs?  For example your Fruit n Fibre is 35g; porridge oats are 40g.  Cheddar cheese is 30g for full fat cheese and 40g for the lower fat cheese; skimmed milk is 350ml, semi skimmed is 250ml.

Butter is quite high syn @ 2 syns per tsp; 3.5 syns per 10ml or 5 per Tbs.  Sugar is 1 syn per tsp but if you change to sweetener it is Free if you use less than Tbs or 0.5 per Tbs.

Salad cream is 2 syns per Tbs but if you change to Light mayo that would be 1 syn and if you buy Lighter than Light mayo that is only 0.5 syns per Tbs.  So as you can see just small changes can make such a difference.

@Jellybaby - well done on deciding to go back to group and good idea to do your best until then.  Good luck with your weight loss.

I think yesterday upset me more than I realised as ended up having a few drinks even though I've got no syns left for this week. Line drawn and back on it today.

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats; mixed frozen fruit & cherries - HEB; S; F
    L - jacket potato; LO beef stew from freezer - P; S; F
D - didn't have the lamb shanks last night in the end as neither of us fancied it so having it tonight - S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - lamb shank 2

    Have a good day everyone.
