Thank you all that posted about salad dressings. @joedenise unfortunately we are not close to a Morrisons, it's a special trip out, so we don't really go there. We only have Asda, Tesco and Aldi that we can go to on a regular basis.
I have a doctors appt this afternoon to have some bloods taken. This week feels really long to me, as I have Friday off, it's my Birthday (a big one). We are going out for a meal on Friday afternoon to a pub where they have normal pub food, a bit like the Harvester and Hungry Horse. Don't know what I'll be having yet, but I will resist having a pudding!
Have a good day all. xStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.671 -
@Abbafan1972 - Hellmann's do a few fat free salad dressings and they are Free but of course more expensive to buy!
Back later with menu plan and how I get on at WI this morning! Don't feel any thinner although trousers are a bit easier to do up so hopefully a small loss!

Morning all...the sun is out, which makes a nice change
I have to stay away from snacks @maman, they're too much of a trigger for meBut I do bulk out my meals with veg and sometimes put some pasta in my soup if I'm having a hungry day.
I'd love an easy to grab hot breakfast, that isn't eggs (I can't face them every day) and I don't like porridge...any ideas?
Food today:
B: fruit, yog, benefit bars x 2 (HEB)
L: soup, fruit
T: Beefy mince, veg0 -
Morning all. I think I know where you're staying in Brixham @joedenise and if it is where I think it is, then it's lovely there. We have some friends who run a B&B opposite the marina and its just so relaxing there *must book to go and stay with them again soon*.
Feeling so much better today; did my 5k walking route last night but took it easy and then did a workout when I got up this morning so feeling like I'm starting to get back on track. Had some porridge with raspberries for breakfast, lunch is going to be lentil soup from the freezer and then dinner is a good old jacket potato with beans and cheese and some salad on the side.

Good to hear you're back to the exercise routine @ruby_eskimo. You must be feeling better. 😁
I meant SW friendly snacks @FrankieM. I grabbed a chicken leg from the fridge last night while I was waiting for dinner but, like you, I mostly have large meals. I think you're wise not to buy crisps. I can't either.🤨
If you mean pre-cooked breakfasts then you could cook some sausages (when you're doing your roasted veg🤔) I like Aldi skinny sausages (half a syn) or Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland (1 syn). What about baked beans? A bowl of beans takes minutes in the microwave and you could have sausages with them or just on their own.
I think all the supermarkets near you do an own brand LTL mayo for half a syn @Abbafan1972. Most seafood sauces are 2 to 3 syns per tablespoon. I suppose it depends on how much you enjoy it and how often you eat salad. 🤔
I rewrote my freezer inventory the other day and I need to do some more batch cooking. I think I'll start with some brown rice later.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, banana (F), red berries (S)
L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan

Afternoon all
WI for me last night 2lb loss, pleased with that. Menus all planned for this week, hope to stay on track, we have a weekend away this weekend but should still be able to do it as long as I’m careful. Will save some syns for a pud on Friday.
enjoying reading your menus and seeing the pics, good to get inspiration and ideas. X0 -
Back again after WI! Not particularly happy as had a fairly good week (apart from the trifle!) didn't have more than 5 or 6 syns the rest of the week and ended up STS, still at least it wasn't a gain. Just hoping for a loss next week now. Will probably be eating out tomorrow but hoping we can find a Weatherspoons or similar so I can at least get a SW friendly meal; DH usually has F&C when we eat out!
Glad you're feeling better @ruby_eskimo and back to exercising.
So today's plan:
B - mushroom and pepper omelette - P; S
L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
D - mini meatloaves with tomato glaze; mash; cabbage; green beans and peas - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEA2 - cheese if I have HEB crisp breads!
HEB - none planned but may have a couple of crisp breads later if needed and/or hifi bar
Syns - butter 3.5 if I have crispbreads
Have a good day everyone.

Shame you didn't get a loss @joedenise. I felt the same when I STS last week. 🤞I can lose that elusive pound tomorrow. I do feel slimmer but you can't tell.
Are you going somewhere new tomorrow? Hope you do find a SW friendly place to eat. It's strange but I promised myself a fish supper over Christmas but every time DH suggested it I had something SW friendly available. Still not got round to it. Last time was my birthday dinner during lockdown in March 2021. 🤣0 -
Feeling hungry today, not sure why but probably boredom, still WFH but my current job is really quiet. Moving to a new team next week and likely to be really busy for the foreseeable.
Breakfast: FF Greek yoghurt, and fruit. Tried the frozen blueberries and I really prefer them to fresh as they have some zing.
2 skinny crunch Hexb
Lunch: beans on toast 3 syns
Dinner: making SW chorizo style meatballs and pasta. My Daughter had the ready meal at work at the weekend and said it was good.
