Well done @maman - 2lb isn't too bad in 8 weeks including Christmas and New Year!  I think generally the consultants can decide what they talk about in IT, my consultant definitely wasn't talking about breakfasts yesterday - it was all about planning, reading the new books, checking syns before you eat anything etc etc!  I'm sure you'll lose that amount over the week and if not it'll only take a couple of weeks.  Definitely a week for watching the syns for both of us.

@annabanana82 - there are a couple of things at KFC which you can easily fit into SW so that you can eat with your son.  I usually go for the veggie Rice Box which is 4 syns or if you particularly want chicken then the boneless mini fillets are 3 syns each so you could have a couple of those with some baked beans.  Not sure about the corn on the cob but if you can get them to do one without the butter that would be Free although I'm fairly certain they actually come already buttered - have to say it's a very long time since I've been to KFC (well before lockdown!).

Don't forget that if you add fruit to the baked oats then you will need to syn them; I tend to make them plain and just have some fresh fruit on the side with them.  I make mine in silicon muffin pan so that they are easy to get out and can take them with you if you want to use them for a packed lunch.

Thanks @joedenise. I'm pleased with my WI but it is infuriating when just a pound would have kept me in range. I think I've just got really good at maintaining but I'd really love to be closer to the lower end of range and maintain there instead. 🤔

You've got a good menu there @annabanana82. You're well within syns for the day but I'm not sure about 3.5 for bread and ketchup for lunch. Is that 3 a small slice of bread and just a smear of sauce? If so then that's fine. 😁

Dinner is all prepped and I sliced up a bag of YS peppers for the freezer. I like to have frozen peppers as they're great for casseroles and sauces. Will do my meal plan and shopping list later. 😊

It was a small slice of wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf 2.5 syns and small bit of ketchup which wasn't finished, I don't have loads of ketchup but something to wean myself off as it's a bit of a must with some foods.

You can have ketchup if you want @annabanana82. Heinz is just 1 syn per tbsp and Sainsburys own brand is only 0.5. Don't deprive yourself, the more normal your meals are, the more likely you are to stay on plan IMO. 😊

Hi all, I'd like to join the thread.
Joined SW Monday for the first time, have lost weight before but never maintained long for various reasons.

I have a long way to go, interim target is to lose 3st 2lbs but will still be overweight at that point.

Not been to the shops since signing up so diet has been a bit meh so far, but my own fault, had a tummy bug this afternoon so eaten little and starting to feel hungry now but can't eat so late.

I think my main issues will be I'll struggle to have two Hex A's as I'm not too keen on dairy.
I also have a really sweet tooth which I need to finally get under control.

But I'm excited about the journey to smaller me

I am so far behind reading this thread, I don't know when I can catch up.  Just wanted to pop along and say that although it's been hard I have managed to do a mixture of calorie counting and SW and have lost another 1lb this week
