    Afternoon all

Denise , when i spoke to Mum this morning i told her to ring McMillan she said she had the details there to do it, if she does i don't know.
They don't have any problems with the stoma, it's working ok and they have only had one little leak when they didn't put it on right but that's ok. Yes they can contact her if they need too.

Sue, they know it's spread to the lymph nodes and he is supposed to be having Radiotherapy and if it shrinks enough will be having his bowel completely removed but it is a massive operation 😫 They did say yes initially but it will depend on consultant /radiotherapy.

Ruby, no he goes wee a lot anyway, not going no more than normal, he drinks quite a lot routinely.

Mrs R thanks and well done you x

    Welcome Nana

The good news in last night he slept 😁😁😁😁😁 Mum said to him you have to go to bed thinking you are going to sleep not that you are NOT going to sleep and bingo apart from getting up to go loo, which he managed on his own 👏👏 and she said this morning he was like his old self after sleeping well, i also said it could have been the aesthetic still coming out of him.

Today i had 3 satsumas first thing, then i had a picky plate about 11 as was going out
Tea bubble and squeak,  LM sausage , bacon, beans, mushrooms and egg 😋😋😋 might have soft pitta too

Glad your dad slept well last night which also meant that your mum probably did too.  She certainly had the right idea saying he'd was going to sleep not he's not going to.

It's funny but we very rarely have a sort of fry up for dinner - it's always breakfast.  I think tonight is the first time with had sausage and mash for a very long time for dinner.  Think the last couple of times I've done it as toad in the hole with roasties but trying to save a few syns by not having the batter!

Oh i forgot he also had a shower as wouldn't have one before and did mostly by himself  they have a fixed shower seat anyway as mum needs one, It's a good job they live in a bungalow, one less worry the stairs!

Denise i would never have bubble and squeak for breakfast 😏

Good to hear your parents had a better night @bubbs. A good sleep makes so much difference.

Have that pitta! It has to be worth trying a regular HEB. 🤔

I always eat any LO vegetables for lunch but some restaurants do bubble & squeak patties with their main meals. To make proper bubble & squeak, I think you need mash and my lunches are more a vegetable hash.

I think we should start a new thread at Easter. I think money saving is a good focus at the moment and we all know that SW can be done very cheaply and it's healthy too. Unlike WW (from what @bubbs said) you can do SW without access to the app or website with the help of the thread. 😬

I've never done bubble and squeak with breakfast either @bubbs!  But I have done fried up left over potatoes or sometimes LO tinned potatoes.  Like @maman my LO veg is more like a hash than a proper B&S!
