Yes, tell you the relief i felt in my stomach was like nothing i have ever felt before, when i was trying to speak to DH on the phone at lunchtime, i couldn't speak as just couldn't stop crying .
Yes she is going to have a nice weekend.
My Auntie (dad's only sibling left) said to my mum, go bed early and have a good sleep, she said yes least i won't have someone tapping my shoulder every 5 mins saying are you awake 🤣 and her replying i am now 😂😂

Good evening all. We arrived in Brixham around 1.30pm, booked in were given the keys to our chalet (we'd paid a bit extra for an early check in); thought we'd have to wait a while as early book in is actually 2pm so that was good. The chalet is, how shall I put it, bijoux! It's open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room in a room about 10' x 10' but at least it should be easy to keep warm!
We went out for a good walk this afternoon into Brixham and had a good look round but don't think we'll be doing that too much as it's really hilly and I was struggling with my breathing. I hadn't realised how hilly this area is!
Well done GTQ on your loss; half off is a good loss when you're not actually expecting a loss at all!
@Coxy11 - I have to say I agree with @maman and you really shouldn't be working while you're unwell; tiredness seems to be one of the worse things about Covid. Best thing will be to ry and rest as much as you possibly can.
@bubbs - glad your dad got his op this morning. It's certainly understandable that he's in a bit of pain. He definitely needs to be able to change his stoma before going home as without doing it properly he'll end up with leaks which nobody wants. It's good that your mum is going to have a good weekend with everyone rallying round.

Hi everyone,
So pleased your dad had his op Bubbs xx what a relief for you all and glad that your mum had some nice social events to look forward to this weekend.
That does sound bijoux Denise - enjoy your time away x
I logged on and about 11 I had to have a lie down - woke up on the sofa 3 hours later! Had my soup and roll then went to bed until about 6. Only got up
because the pup managed to get stuck in the bedroom and was moaning! We ordered takeaway for tea - I had a chicken and bacon salad, DH had pizza. I have a very small glass of red wine. No class for 4 weeks as I’m back to Inverness next Friday for a 2 week/200 mile hike 😳Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0
