    Morning everyone,

Another bright day and meant to be the best of the week - I'm in shorts today!

    Food today:

    L - sardines in tomato sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles - P, S
    D - salmon, jacket potato, green beans, mini sweetcorn, broccoli - P, 1, S
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
half HEB - hi fi bar
    Total syns - 1

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, it's a been a bit foggy here this morning but it seems to be clearing now so the bedding will be going out on the line shortly.

Do hope it's just a cold @Coxy11 and not covid but it doesn't sound good with so many others who were at the party testing positive.

    Today's plan:

    B - kedgeree - P; S; F
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEB; HEA2; S; F
    D - toad in the hole; new potatoes; veg - P; S; F; 4.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - flour 4.5

    Have a good day everyone.

We're off to Devon in the morning so no idea how often, if at all, I'll be posting next week.  Will be on plan as much as I can but as we all know it's not always easy when we eat out!

  • Hope it was a good one TIE!

Not holding out for much this week, maintain will be very happy with as I didn't do any shopping & am clearing out the freezer so not enough speed together with odd meals not really the best combo. So will take whatever on the chin. Means I can have a good Saturday batch cooking, together with housework and off to the Ideal Home Show on Sunday, hopefully will not be tempted to spend anything, although there are usually bargains to be had on the last day, so who knows. Lovely day here and in office on my own, so peace & quiet!

Afternoon all.  Happy belated birthday @TakeItEazy, can you send some of that cake over, sounds delightful!

Hope you recover quickly @Coxy11 fingers crossed it's a minor case.  Lots of fluids and alternate paracetamol and ibruprofen if you can to keep your temperature in check.

Hope you have a good trip @joedenise, looks like you've booked the weather for it!

In the office today and as it's payday I treated myself to some sushi for lunch.  Dinner tonight is the last of the prawn linguine from Tuesday.  Off work tomorrow and again on Monday - going out for lunch Saturday and Sunday with the mothers so will see what the options are when we get there.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoys the nice weather.

Oh dear @Coxy11. Must have been a super spreader at your party. I do hope you get over it quickly.

🤞🏼 for at least a STS tonight @Gettingtherequickly. I've been running things down this week too, almost nothing fresh left in the house. It'll be good for your motivation to do a shop and some batch cooking.

It's glorious here again today. We had a good, long walk with friends this morning and then sat outside for coffee. I think it may not be quite so sunny @joedenise next week but I think it's staying dry and reasonably warm. Do try and post if you have a signal anywhere as it's good to know where you are. It's like virtual travelling. 🤣

I hope you get a good meal, whatever it is, at the weekend @ruby_eskimo. It can be such a lottery on Mothers' Day when some places overstretch themselves. Syns are wasted it if you don't  enjoy them IMO. 😉

I need to do my meal plan and careful shopping list for tomorrow. We're eating out twice next week so I should be able to manage from the freezer just buying fresh fruit and vegetables.

    Today's EE plan-
B- scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks
L- LO corned beef hash (P,F,S), pickled cabbage (S), fried egg (P)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with tagliatelle (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

I've checked the weather forecast for Brixham next week and it's better than it was when I checked at the beginning of the week!  It was showing as being wet from Monday onwards but now it's just cloudy/sunny until Thursday afternoon so at least it will be dry for most of the week!

Will have to do a meal plan before we come home at least for a couple of days!  Think I'll pick something up for the day we come home while we're away and then do a decent shop the day after we get home - even though I hate shopping at the weekend!  Having said that if I pick up some fruit and veg before we come home then I can probably manage with what is in the freezer and go early the week after which I think would be better.

Will definitely try to post if I can get a signal but as I say no idea what the mobile signal will be like - we have a mobile router which we always take with us - after all we're paying for it so why not!  We were told it was OK to take abroad to Europe when we got it so we've done that too but won't anymore now that they've started charging for it!

Coxy hope you are not to poorly x

    Denise have a fab break!

Well Dad's op never happened because, they asked about taking tablets and was told yes, i asked mum this Tues also. Yesterday my sister took them hospital for his pre op and asked about tablets and was told yes, but as of last week he has been having blood thinning injections every day, they never told him to stop them, my sister wrote everything down as she has been all the way along for my mum as it's all over whelming , of course they then couldn't do the op 🤬

I have not spoken to mum yet waiting for her to call me as she has stayed with dad at the hospital as they are keeping him ready for tomorrow.

    What a bloody mess!!

    Food
Fried toms, mushrooms and spinach 2 poached eggs

    Banana and some grapes
