Morning all,
Early one from me as I'm in the (old) London office today as I have to pack cratesI have had a sore throat and sniffles since Monday night and just feel really tired. Did an LFT yesterday but negative, so maybe hayfever or 'just a cold'.
Another one to second Age UK @bubbs - I was a gardener for them during the kids' primary school years. Wishing your Dad well for tomorrow and hugs to your Mum, bless her.
Food today:
B - pineapple, blueberries, hi fi bar - S, HEB
L - something from Pret as I'm taking a 'lockdown starter' colleague who is working in person with me today for the first time.
D - pork and apple burgers (from the Take 5 book), cajun wedges, salad - 0.5, S
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel x 2
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy
ETA - just looking at the app and the Pret tuna nicoise salad wins at 2.5 syns without the dressing.

Morning all, another lovely day but don't think it's going to be quite as warm as yesterday. Doing a machine load of washing now so I can get it on the line before I go to WI later.
My DSis used to do stuff for Age UK - she used to mainly do shopping for the elderly who couldn't get out or had just come out of hospital. She also used to do a bit of DIY - hanging pictures, changing plugs and light bulbs - so little bits that can be difficult for the older generation. She gave it up at the start of the pandemic because she was over 70 so was one of the ones told to shield.
Hope it all goes well in the office @Coxy11 - it's always horrible when you have to pack up your stuff to move offices. I used to hate that and had a few of those during my working life!
Today's plan:
B - ham and tomato omelette - P; S
L - Ham and cheese toastie; pickles - HEB; HEA2; P; S
D - Homity pie; cabbage, green beans and peas - P; S; F; 3
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - cheese 3
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone. Another tick for Age UK - they were really helpful taking my grandad to his radiotherapy appointments, so hoping everything goes well tomorrow @bubbs - every stoma nurse I've ever worked with has been wonderful so make sure he contacts them if he has the smallest question or slightest concern.
I do love Korean food @maman but I think DH loves it more than me; bought me a Korean cookbook for my birthday and has already bookmarked recipes he wants me to try 😆
Good luck with the office move @Coxy11, my last one happened while I was on holiday so I just had to chuck my stuff into crates and it magically appeared at my desk a few weeks later 😂. Hope the cold goes soon - there's a lot of it going about.
Had a bit of an off day yesterday and not sure why but forced myself to get out of bed and workout this morning before work. Will also try going for a run this evening if it's not too hot outside. Had my usual breakfast of ff yogurt but with mango and papaya this morning. Lunch is going to be the last of the roasted carrots and lentils and dinner is chilli which will make enough to put a couple of portions in the freezer.
Hope everyone has a good day, better get cracking on with some work.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Not sure who that Korean cookbook was a present for @ruby_eskimo!🤣
I had a Pret salad last week @Coxy11. The only syns I could see (except dressing) were for some olives. They seemed to have cut each olive into about six pieces! I suppose the syn value online must be an estimate as sometimes they use capers instead of olives or even edamame beans which are free.
Bright and sunny again here @joedenise. I'm enjoying it while it lasts.😁
We enjoyed our chicken and chips last night. I know people on the Old Style boards can make a week's meals from a chicken but generally I just pick at what's left through the week😮. I've resolved to try and think of some more low cost meals, especially meat free or with minimal meat. Any ideas for rubber chicken? Veggie? Favourite low cost meal?
We're having corned beef hash today. I had thought of a chicken casserole or ham hash but decided to keep those low syn meals for nearer to WI day.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,F, S, HEA2 topping)., with greens (S)
Syns- horseradish 1, corned beef 3.51 -
