Yay to the boiler being fixed @bubbs - enjoy the warmth and hot water  :)

Think it was the texture of the fresh tagliatelle as well as lack of taste @joedenise - not sure I'd do it again tbh.

I am not feeling great. TOTM due any second, headache, stomach ache, feel like I want to punch someone.... you get my drift! Have stuck to food plan though, which is the main thing.

Might go for a walk now to try to clear my head. It's cold but fairly sunny so need to seize the moment!

Glad the boiler is fixed @bubbs.  Now you can have a shower and keep warm!

@Coxy11  - Glad I don't have to put up with TOTM any more!  Used to hate that and those horrible hormones.  Used to feel a bit sorry for my DH when the girls were teenagers though as our TOTM didn't coincide so he'd have to put up with one of us being hormonal 3 weeks on the trot!

Good you've managed to stick to plan so far.  The sun's disappeared here and it's a bit cloudy but at least the washing has dried while we had the sun earlier - going to leave it on the line a bit longer though to let it have a bit of a blow as there's a bit of breeze now which there wasn't earlier!

The bacon wrapped scallops were lovely (I used defrosted frozen scallops so no corals on which the recipe called for).  The crushed minty peas were nice too - I've never bothered with them before but think they're worth doing now and again - I've got about half a bag of frozen peas which take ages to cook normally but they were fine for this.  We had a jacket potato with some Primula on as well as decided there wouldn't be enough with just the crushed peas, bacon & scallops.  Will definitely make them again.

    Afternoon again 😂

Well the boiler saga continues, was working fine, i set the timer for normal time and it came on as casing is warm while i was out, but came back and same issue so DH did what he told me and it's working again but we don't need the heating on so turned it off and see what happens.
I have message him as he sent payment details and told him, he said see what happens the next few days and if it's a no go will come back.............very kind eh? 🤣 DH said i am not paying yet!

Cox hope you feel a bit better, i am glad as well i don't have them! i was so lucky mine just stopped and that was it, very rarely have flushes if i do it's about 9pm. Oh i was 40 as well :D so young in the scheme of things

I can't make my mind up if to go WI this week as really want to stop first week back after a month off, but it's hair cut this week didn't realise till today. Don't think i'm that much over but another week would give me a good chance 😂 hmmmm what to do 😏

Breakfast i had 2 boiled eggs, ham and melon
Lunch i had the rest of the melon
Tea we have bubble and squeak, LM sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms and egg 😋 no syns again today , oh might have a soft pitta with it not decided yet

Glad you've got heating @bubbs even if it is a bit of a DIY fix at the moment.

Your lunch sounds lush @joedenise. I love scallops but they're so expensive in restaurants for a very small portion.

I'm sure staying with the healthy eating plus some exercise and fresh air has to be good for you @Coxy11. Great that you've managing to avoid comfort eating, or punching anyone! 🤣

The new dress should be a great incentive to stick to plan @MrsRyan. Enjoy yourself next week and I'm sure you'll manage some SW friendly food as you always do.

I forgot to add in 3 syns yesterday for my half Crunchie at the football. We also managed to win so it really was worth it! 👏🏼❤⚽

We're having corned beef hash today. It's a bit synful compared with the ham hash which is free but DH loves it and I've had quite a good week so I'm treating him to it. Lunch was much the same as yesterday as I wanted to use up cottage cheese as past BB date.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F), berries (S)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), lettuce, beetroot, cornichons (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,S,F), cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
Syns- corned beef 4, horseradish 1

The lunch was delicious @maman.  I think I bought the scallops in Iceland on their 3 for £10 offer but they don't do the same size bag any more and it doesn't look as though they're included in the 3 for £10 offer now either!  It was a 300g very large scallops - there was only 13 scallops in the pack so we had 3 each today and got enough to do the same lunch again so may well take them away with us at the end of the month in the cool box and have them for lunch when we get to the chalet.  If I don't then they can go on next month's menu plan!

Haven't had corned beef hash for ages - think that may well be going on next month's plan too!  It's great getting ideas from everyone when they post their menu plans!

Haven't had a chance to read through 🙈
Same breakfast and dinner except I had banana in my sandwich, felt like a takeaway but somehow don't ask how but I fought it and am having left over bolognese with wedges.  Bolognese has a whole frying pan of mushrooms, onions and peppers in it.
Been like a wet rag all day hope tomorrow feels better
