@Coxy11 The chicken skewer with salad sounds lovely and probably quite Low Syn - I doubt it would be as much as 5 syns unless they use masses of oil to cook the chicken or it's marinaded - that's the problem I have with my local kebab shop!  They use quite a bit of oil in the marinade so something that could be free ends up having syns.  For some reason they never seem to have any plain chicken!

The smoky chicken and butter bean bake sounds nice.  Again, please let us know what it's like.

@joedenise I definitely know what your saying I've thinking about it.  I think it's a mental block because although I know that weetabix is pretty much worthless other than fibre I feel like I need it, I feel like it fills me, same as having a sandwich dinner time....
I am flat out all day so haven't got much time and at the moment those two meals are easy for me to grab and go.  I am hoping as time goes on and I add more to my list of meals I will be able to vary them and cut the syns at the same time.
    I will have a think.....

*Face your fear, don't do what's easy, do what is right, fight for it because it will be worth it*

Morning all, well done to all the losers and can sympathise with bunged up Mrs R, an issue I’m familiar with!  Still plodding along.  Birthday today so out tonight for a curry. I need to forget the weekend and draw a line tomorrow morning and take the hit on the scales on Saturday.  Don’t think damage limitation the rest of the week will work😳

think I need you all to give me a boot up the backside. I know I feel so much better when I stick to plan but I’m very good at knocking myself down and not making me a priority.  It’s really cold but sun is out and I’m off work so I’m off out for a walk. Normal service resumed soon 😊

I'm back from lunch. I chose the chicken skewers with salad. Two skewers with onion and peppers, nice mixed salad - had a little dressing on it but I scraped it off! Ignored the pot of coleslaw and the yoghurty dip, also in a little pot. Had 2 black coffees. Declined offer of cake from DSis - whoop!

Welcome home @bubbs!  That's a pain about your boiler.  Assume that means you've got no heating/hot water or do you use LPG for those?  What about cooking?

My current electric costs (on standard variable rate as fixed deal came to an end at the end of last year):

Daily standing charge: 41.66p per day
Electricity unit rate: 29.49p per kWh

I dread to think what it's going to go up to!
